Some of you might have noticed that I was not so creative in the past months. It had it's reasons - I was busy to take care of my daily things and my family. My dad passed away 4 years ago, last year my sister followed and now my mom also left to enternity. My entire family is now gone. I feel like a chapter is closing and for sure it will have an impact on my artist work. What exactly it will be I don't know now but I know something will change. I remember when my dad passed away somehow I learnt to be more responsible in life and now I don't know which effect this situation will have on me. But what I know at the moment is that there is no need to stay in Switerland anymore or also to take care of many things which I needed to do because of the overall situation. I feel like now is the time where I shall connect all my spiritual and musical knowledge into one thing and I will start with the concert I will play for my mom on the funeral on July 8th in the church in Bubikon. I will play a piano concert to the colors of my mom to honor here and to remember who she was. Even it's a public funeral I did not invite anybody - I will let life decide who will come and who will be part of this special moment. See you soon mom....

It's a really cool way to keep a rhythm motiv going on during one chorus of improvisation. At the end of the tabs you find the modes which are attached to the chords of this blues. If you are an advanced jazz guitar player this might also be for you. Just because it's easy to play does not mean that it does not sound cool. The audio file show you how in fact it should sound. Jazz Guitar Secrets - Options One very important part of jazz guitar theory are the " options ". Every mode is built of 7 notes which are intervals. 4 notes of the mode ( the root, the 3rd, the 5th and the 7th ) are used to build a 7th chord and the remaining 3 notes are called the options. They are what make jazz guitar sound like jazz guitar, either you build chords with options or you use the options to solo on a specific mode. In this tutorial I introduce you to the options of the 7 basic modes : ionian, dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian and locrian and show you how to use the options on each mode in soloing.
