Hey Nick - yes it's a challenge to go for the 2 and 4 if you have never done that before. But when you listen to any rock drum the snare is always on 2 and 4 so this helps to keep on track.

Metal Guitar - Essential Rhythm Studies Tabs & Backing Tracks If you want to get into Metal Guitar you need to know the basic rhythm figures which are unfortunately based on 16th notes. If you don't know rhythm and rhythm notation you will have quit a hard time. So these rhythm studies will help you to learn the rhythm notation which is used in metal guitar. In these rhythm studies you first learn the basic rhythm figures including the pauses which are also important and in the second part you learn to make combinations out of the basic figures. It is very important that you can locate each of the 4 notes which makes a 16th note group. If you are able to play and sight - read the 2nd part of these studies you managed these rhythm studies. To make it easier for you you can play the studies just with the low E string which already sounds a lot like Metal Guitar. Start with 60 bpm then rise the tempo. I have exported the audio file with 75 bpm which is still slow but gives you the time to still figure out the different parts. If you can play the studies with 120 bpm then you are near to a Metal Guitar Master. I have added 2 backing tracks with metal music in E in 70 bpm and 105 bpm that you can practice those exercises in 2 different tempo's. If you don't know rhythm notation at all - here you find all you need to know about it : These files are associated to this tutorial here :Free -
I always admired Al Di Meola for his great technique but there was a lack of emotions in his playing... for my taste.... but in this rendition not anymore. Just wonderful.

I have decided to make the whole fullmoon concerts of the year 2022 as live concerts but with live-streaming. They will be held in the church of Seegräben. This is a tiny little church in the village of Seegräben. I used to live there for a few years and I must say it was the best time of my life and I really enjoyed this little church, which was always open and there is this old upright piano which has it's special tuning and I really loved to play and compose there alone in this little church. If you are from Switzerland you might want to join one of those concerts. Here is the list with the dates : If you can not attend the concert you still can join in the live streaming which will be announced here on my website. So here is the position of the church : and here 2 pictures :

Here you can learn the theme of the very standard jazz standard " Misty " by Erroll Garner. I will show you the version which is written in the Real Book and also how to make slight variations on the theme. In the 2nd part I show you chords which go along with the melody. Those ones are probably not for beginners, but those really work together with the theme of the song. In the 3rd part I show a very easy way to improvise to this tune by using the Eb major scale together with the blue note. In the B section I just follow the melody a bit and make variations out of it. With this method you will sound nice and smooth and are able to improvise even with very little knowledge about jazz music theory. Here you can download the tabs and the backing track :

If you want to play the chords as well then please take the selection which I added for you. Those chords follow the melody so they work perfect if somebody is playing the melody. I have also added a backing track with 3 chorus of the AABA section of misty. In the 1st and 3rd chorus I follow the melody with the chords and in the middle part you can improvise the way you want. Shuffle Blues Guitar Riff - Tabs and Backing Track ( C - Blues ) Here you find the tabs of a blues guitar riff over a standard blues form in the key of C. It's a quite common riff but it sounds great and I have added some fill-ins which work with the riff. The first part is the full blues form with the riff and in the B-section you find some suggestions for the solo together with the riff and 2 repeating patterns which work great on a shuffle blues - specially when you play in a trio formation just with drum, bass and guitar. The backing track is just drum and bass so you can practice this with an original setting. These files are associated to this tutorial here :Free -

Meditation Piano Concert 432Hz - Lunar Eclipse in Sagetarius The lunar eclipse of 5/16/22 takes place in Sagittarius. The time between solar and lunar eclipse is always a time of great changes, significant decisions, but can also indicate a time of letting go. In personal experience, one must look at one's own horoscope to see which areas are affected and to what extent. In general, events are likely to question the capitalist, materialistic and growth-oriented worldview and call for a new, more conscious approach to the limited resources of this earth. The focus will also be on the importance of electrical energy, digital technologies and the value of spiritual values. Participants in the live concert can request colors to be played in the chat. The colors red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue and violet are available. The 432 Hz tuning of the piano provides easier access to meditation, to one's emotions and in the course of this full moon of personal transformation and decision making. Livestreaming Link If you loved the concert please make a donation here : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meditations Piano Konzert 432Hz - Mondfinsternis in Schütze Die Mondfinsternis vom 16.5.22 findet im Schützen statt. Essential Timing Exercises - full, half, quarter and 8th notes In rock guitar timing is very important. The more tight you play your chords or single note lines the more " rock " your guitar will sound. Here is now a summary of the main essential rhythm figures you need to know when it comes to rock guitar. Practice them with a click or a rock drum loop in different tempo's because every tempo feels different and also pay close attention that your foot is also hitting the click of the metronome or the quarter notes of the rock drum loop. The first part are the main rhythm figures which you need to know in detail how they feel, sound and how they look like in written notation. The second part are exercises from easy till advanced. You can control with the attached audio file if you have done the exercise correct. To achieve mastery in this topic also start to write your own exercises and play them with any chord you like. If you don't know rhythm notation at all please view this short documentation : These files are associated to this tutorial here :Free -

It has in fact been quite a while since I did my last guitar performance. Due to the situation in the world I was not really motivated to practice my daily guitar skills and after practicing daily since my age of 20 the nealry one year break was nice. But now I felt it's time to pick up the guitar again and it's fun again and in fact even I practiced daily again it took me a few weeks to get back to a professional level again where I can play a one hour solo concert. I always say that it is a difference to just make some noise on the guitar or to instant create music - that difference is only possible when doing a professional guitar training. So with this performance I feel I am back again and the rest will happen with the further performances again because what you can not practice is to get into the playing flow during a performance. That is only possible if you do it. If you love this concert you are still free to pay Dr. Pink a drink here with a Guitar Night Donation : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/
