Guitar Sound Lab - Pure Rock Guitar Sound ( Gary Moore Approach )
Here we talk about about the tips and tricks how to work out a pure rock guitar sound with just one guitar, one amp and only spring reverb. Gary Moore was the master of this puristic sound setting so I take a bit his approach here. The key to this type of rock guitar sound is to wokr very dynamicly with the setting of your volume, your pickup selection and also your playing technique. Here I show you the main tricks about it. Sound settings are also a key element of this. The way you work with your volume, gain, master volume, the presence setting, the EQ setting and also with compression. Here you find more details how to work with that in specific in the HPCrazy Lab - Rock Guitar Tone Control Tutorial :

Once you have those ones done properly with your slow blues guitar training you are ready to become creative and make any combinations. Here you can download the files associated to this tutorial :

Footprints ( Wayne Shorter )
This tune is still one of my favorite jazz standards because it is a minor blues in 3/4 and you can really explore the dorian mode on the Cm7 and on the Fm7. What I also started to use is the C melodic minor mode on the Cm7 chord which sounds great on this tune. Try it : E |----------------------------|-----------------7--8----|| B |----------------------------|-----------8--10---------|| G |----------------------------|--7--8--10---------------|| D |-----------------7--9--10---|-------------------------|| A |-----------8--10------------|-------------------------|| E |--8--10-11------------------|-------------------------||

Farbmusik Newsletter : 2.August 2026 Piano Solo Dolby Atmos & Synesthetic Score

RED: Rise From The Ashes | Dark Cinematic Guitar Score
The Power of Transformation: The Color Red"Rise From The Ashes" marks the musical opening of a new journey within the Farbmusik concept. This piece is dedicated to the intense, raw energy of the color RED—a symbol of struggle, transformation, passion, and rising from the embers. Visually and aurally, the composition transports the listener into a massive, sacred cathedral engulfed in flames. Deep orchestral textures and dense spatial reverberation form the foundation, over which an expressively wailing solo guitar ascends. The Philosophy: A Raw, Uncut MomentIn an era of digital over-polishing, this piece consciously emphasizes human sovereignty and untamed emotion. The solo guitar was recorded in a single, unedited "one-take" performance—capturing every micro-nuance, articulation, and dynamic friction that forms the true core of human expression. This track unfolds as part of the evolving project "Synesthetic Score," where visual color perception and musical dramaturgy merge into an immersive auditory experience.
