Hey guys, here is now finally the newsletter for the month of April 26 . First of all I can say that a longer phase of innovation has been succesfully completed with the goal to react to the changements caused by AI in the creative sector. I have invested a lot of time to explore audio production methods for solo guitar, duo guitar and other formats in Dolby Atmos. Why Dolby Atmos ? Because this production method brings the sound and feeling of a high class concert hall direct to your headphones. To experience that format all you need are regular headphones. Here is a first recording which you can check out : When you listen to this track you might notice that you feel like you are pysicaly standing in a concert hall with great acoustics. That's the path I want to go and that works great specific on solo or duo guitar recordings. It's not fancy but it has a great effect on your hearing experience. And now lets move on to the news in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy : Blues Basic Slow Blues Guitar Training - Chords & Solo : Here you learn to make basic combinations with chords and solo's from scratch. The key to make the combinations is that you always know where in the bar and the form of the blues you are. Mastering Emotional Minor Blues Guitar : Here you learn how to master an emotional minor blues guitar by learning the concept of living in the tone, perception of your melodies and the theoretical background which gives you the foundation for your emotional minor blues guitar. The key is not to play many notes, but the right notes. Melodic Major Blues Guitar : Here I show you a wonderful melodic major blues guitar in the key of D. I show you 2 different guitar parts which work great together as a duo. At the end I also explain to you the concept of " living in the tone " which is crucial from my point of view in a melodic major blues guitar. Rock Ueber Cool Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show you a ueber cool rock guitar riff played with a drop D tuning. The riff itself is easy to play but the rhythm in fact is the part which defines your coolness in your rock guitar riff. Basic Rock Guitar Training - First Licks : Here you learn your first rock lead guitar licks. The key of all rock guitar solo's are the bendings in the root pentatonic position and the speed of your picking hand. Both of these tasks are discussed here that you can start your basic rock guitar training and if you follow my instructions you might be able to fullfill the task in the timeframe of 3 weeks. Hypnotic Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show you a very cool hypnotic rock guitar riff which you can play with chicken picking to make the sound a bit more hypnotic and additional I show you some variations to raise the energy while you play along. Jazz Basic Bossa Nova Guitar - Easy Solo 1 : Here we are making our first steps of soloing to a simple bossa nova track with the chord progression I-7 / I-7 / II-7b5 / V7 in the key of Am. The key to any improvisation is that you learn to follow the chord progression and the chords while you are playing. And here I give you some very first and easy exercises to train that. Intermediate Smooth Jazz Guitar - Mixolydian Mode : Here I teach you the first steps from switching from the minor and major pentatonic patterns to the mixolydian patterns in order to start playing the mixolyidan mode in a smooth jazz guitar setting. Since the beginning of the year any new member who becomes a premium member becomes a personal invitation from me to join the club. If I forgot you please send me a PM. HPCrazy Guitar Nights Since I was so absorbed with innovation in the past 12 months the HPCrazy Guitar Nights did not take place anymore. Now I will restart it on May 17th with a new concept : Jazz'n Blues'n Colors Music News I am glad that my Farbmusik Concerts finally got some local funding. This will allow to professionalize the whole series. It is still a small concert series but the audience is slowly growing and the team is getting more professional each time. Specificly we are working hard to make the livestream really professional. and of course my Dolby Atmos concept is spreading everywhere. I personaly think that this is the future of audio production because it is getting pushed by Apple Music, Steinberg and others. A first release is now out on Apple Music ( Choral Of The Spirits ) and more will follow. And even more news : The local churches in Egg hired me as a piano and a guitar player on a ongoing manner. There I will bring in my music into any types of ceremonies and I can already tell that the local people really love it. and last but not least - it might be a bit to early but I can tell that I'll soon be the co-president of Swiss Music Pedagogic (V)Association ( Winterthur - Zürcher Oberland ) from May 26 on and help the organisation in the region but also Swisswide to get to the next level in the 21st century. The Future of Guitar is Three-Dimensional The Architecture of Sound: Mastering Solo Guitar in Dolby Atmos Anyone who has tried to mix a solo guitar in the immersive realm of Dolby Atmos knows the struggle: the sound often loses its "punch," becomes "muddy," or feels lost in an artificial space. In many cases, the raw emotion and the sharp attack of the instrument simply vanish when moved into a 3D environment. In this video, I demonstrate my newly developed method for translating the soul of a guitar into immersive space—without sacrificing the precision and warmth of the analog original. A New Standard in Immersive Production Using a PRS Private Stock as the reference, I have redefined how a guitar interacts with the Atmos renderer. Most standard plugins and automated processes fail to maintain the instrument's integrity. My approach is different. The Technical Core: The 5ms Strategy To achieve this level of clarity, I have moved away from traditional mixing conventions: Bypassing Compression: I avoid heavy compression that usually flattens the dynamics and spatial depth. Psychoacoustic Object Placement: By utilizing a specific placement of audio objects within the critical 5ms threshold, I maintain the transients and the "bite" of the strings. Realism over Effects: The result is a soundscape that doesn't just surround the listener but feels as authentic as if the amplifier were sitting right in front of you. Conclusion of the Innovation Cycle This release marks the completion of a long journey in defining the digital future of my music. The structures are set, and the method is verified. For high-end listeners and audiophile creators, this isn't just a new mix—it is a new way of experiencing the instrument. Here you can listen to a Blues Guitar Duo produced with this method in Dolby Atmos :

Feel The Space ( Blues Guitar Duo in Dolby Atmos )Guitar Dolby Atmos Showcase: Country Blues Duo Experience a unique blues guitar duo recording featuring my PRS Private Stock Chesapeake Bay. This session was specifically designed for a Dolby Atmos environment to showcase the extraordinary harmonic richness of this instrument. As you listen, you will notice how the overtones of this rare guitar develop within a meticulously crafted sonic space. I have engineered a natural asymmetric room for this recording—closely emulating the world-class acoustics of legendary venues like the KKL in Lucerne. The combination of a Fender Vibro King amp and this high-end guitar captures every nuance and micro-detail of the performance. To preserve the "Human Sovereignty" and the wooden character of the tone, no compressors were used. Technical Note: I am offering this recording in High-Res Binaural Audio. To experience the full 3D room, the precise placement, and the breathtaking details of the sound, please listen with high-quality headphones.
