Chilling Finger Style Blues Guitar
Inspired by Matteo Mancuso's great fingerstyle technique I got encouraged to work more on my personal fingerstyle technique. I always felt that I have a better touch for the strings when I was playing fingerstyle guitar but I thought it's now possible to reach a certain level in your playing abilities without using a pic. Matteo Mancuso in fact was a great inspiration to start working more on my fingerstyle technique even though my goal is not speed but having the total tonal and inspiration control over my playing. I have been working over a year to get my technique ready and this is now my first recording. It's not flashy but I love the relaxed and chilling vibe I could create. This was a first take recording as most of my recordings.

Jazz Guitar - Stomping At The Savoy
You can use the following modes : On all the half bar chords I would just go for the chord tones of each chord. I think I spoke about the improvisation at the end of the tutorial. In the B section with all these dominant 7 chords - use mixolydian on all off them. In fact this tune is not so easy to improvise because the theme define pretty much the mood of the song. So best would be to stick to the theme and just make some variations if you are not such an experienced player with jazz improvisation.
