If you want to play true slowhand blues in the ballpark of Snowy White, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore and many others it's good to know the playing techniques which make them sound so great even with simple equipment like one guitar and a tube amp. Beside the fact that in order to play the blues you need to have the blues it is also important that you practice the main techniques which I show you in this guitar tutorial. Here you can download the backing track and you find an additional tutorial to the topic " Midnight Blues " by Snowy White : If you need any further professional assistance please book a private online guitar lesson here : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/store/category/1-private-online-guitar-lessons/

Finally I have new LED lights which I from now on will use on any Farbmusik concert. Hey there - yeah I know the wifes normaly don't like rock guitar so much. To calm them down go for the romantic spanish guitar stuff.

Here comes another really cool drop D rock guitar lesson where I show you how to build up a great and dirty rock guitar with only 3 chords and how to develop those chords and the riff to make it sound interesting and professional for your audience. Here I show you an original of mine which is in fact a romantic spanish guitar balade. It is a wonderful chord progression in the key of Bm played in 6/8. The first part is for beginners among you by using the regular chords which you might already know. The 2nd part is more demanding and uses great open string chords by using the same chord progression but with in fact quit demanding chords. But they really sound nice and romantic. Here now the start of the " new " HPCrazy initiative. New photo's, new logo and a new concept with more guitars - these will be integrated more over time. This is the Godin nylon guitar for flamenco and flamenco lounge or similar and new still the 7 - string guitar for new deep and earthy sounds. This ends my almost 3 year " forced - break " as a professional guitarist. I have a lot of ideas and it has indeed taken a few months until all the processes on the guitar have worked again as usual. And of course the body and the hands have to get used to the high loads again. I didn't think it would take so long. And the focus now goes clearly on my brand " HPCrazy " and guitar music in any way. Creative development of the instrument with modern means, sounds and playing techniques and what is very important to me - free from commercial expectations. Just let the art flow....

Hey there yeah I do slide guitar from time to time and when I do it I mostly select a drop D tuning or a normal tuning. Thats really cool having that 3 string cigar box guitar - I think I saw that once on the channel of a guy named justin johnson or something like that.

Hey Dave, yeah bottleneck is in fact fun. I did a tutorial about that long time ago but I can do one in the near future. In the meanwhile you can check this one here back from 2014.

Mojo Blues Guitar Advanced Lesson Here I teach you an advanced mojo blues guitar riff in the key of E. First I will show you the riff in detail which is technically not too hard to play but in the trio situation with only drum and bass you have to play it well. In the second part of this tutorial I show you how to create a blues guitar improvisation with some chords, open spaces and feeling the music and the space and just adding a few notes. This is the truly advanced part of this tutorial even though it's technically not so hard to play. Music is about time and space and to feel and hear what you are playing. With the recent update comes now the possibility to switch from light design to dark design. Here is how it looks : if you want to change to dark design scroll down to the buttom of the bage and there you find the " theme " selection. If you don't like it you can switch back to light design.

D minor pentatonic studies I started to check out how to deal with the pentatonic on the 7 - string guitar. On the normal 6 string guitar the main orientation goes over the regular position 1 of the minor pentatonc and the 4th position is the one which builds the main bridge between the low and the high 1st pentatonic position. On the 7-string guitar this way of thinking leads to confusion and to the loss of orientation. So I found out that one has to make the main orientation on the 4th position and working out 3 ways of playing the whole pentatonc over 3 octaves which leads to the regular 1st position of the pentatonic. If you think the 7 - string guitar this way then the confustion stops which you have first when you switch from 6 to 7 strings. But one of the technical problems is in fact that the position of the picking hand has to be trained a bit since you are used to just have 6 strings and you have to ajust that a bit and that takes some training. Here now my exercises to practice the D minor pentatonic : 7 - String Studies - D minor Pentatonic.pdf
