I have been into professional online education since 2003 having my first guitar sites and websites around music. Looking back to those times I still have a smile on my face because back then the internet was an unexplored area which one could be creative and in fact reach many people with the work as an artist. And so I did - I reached millions of users since then but like around 2018 things started to change. The first laws with restrictions came and of course all the big companies tried to get more and more influence over the internet and so they did. Also being in the Swiss YouTube team I have seen many things which were going on in the background which leaded to my personal opinion back in 2019 that there is need for a new strategy and to start building up a own website which keeps you free from any kind of unexpected changments of user policies or unexpected changments of the alogerithms of the big platforms. There was even the YouTube Creator Union back in 2015 which was fighting for better payment and more rights for the creators but when you joined that union your channel got downgraded as in any real life workers union when you join it. So I started to reactivate this website in 2019 again which was part of my online education system back in 2006. Now we are in 2024 and the situation on social media plattforms got worser. A good example is Facebook. This site is slow, complicated and the worst of all it collects your personal data for their personal benefit. Big data is something which I am against since the disadvantages of this comes more and more visible. The alogerithm on YouTube has also changed in an unpredicable way and the traffic I had over many years with approx. 100K visitors per month started to collapse in spring 2023 - even I did the same upload strategy with high quality content covering popular themes and less popular themes. It is still possible to get some views with popular themes but they are strongly restricted to the alogerithm of YouTube which leads to an total uncreative way of creating content. So I decided to fully activate my offramp strategy to pull all my social media on all plattforms on this website by still using the big platforms and slowly I am getting there. Now here are the keyparts which make this website what it is and what was my intention : 1. No Big Data : I did not connect any data here to the social media plattforms. On other plattforms you can create accounts just by opting in with your Facebook or Google account. I did not activate this feature here, even it would be available. All your data you are creating here is save and will not be used in any situation. The only marketing tool I am using is the monthly newsletter to keep in contact with you guys. Thats all. If somebody leaves this website you can request a total deletion of your data here. 2. Creativity First : Since all works I am doing here is now on this one website I have no limits in creativity anymore. You can use any department here as you like. If you are interested only in the Guitar Academy or only one genre in the Guitar Academy you can go to the department of your choice and follow it just by clicking on the " Join " or " Follow " button. You have in an internal search function here. You can use the search function by putting any title into " .... " and it will lead you there. Or you can use the search tags. You find all information about those features here : 3. Building up the community : Since the main grid is set and filled with a lot of content now it's your turn to make yourself confortable here in the community. I have installed some really cool features here and the more the community grows and you participate the more I can enlarge this service. It's a bit limited to the costs of hosting this platform. Webspace and accessabilty are a topic which has to be concerned about since this quickly can lead to very high costs. So the more the community grows the more it can be enlarged. The more the community works out here the more I can pull back from traditional social media strategies. I still need to keep them running to get the traffic to this website but my goal is to get independant from all social media plattforms for the reasons I already explained. The companies just do what they want and it's not worth anymore to work so hard to get a channel running on any social media plattform. If you want you can still follow me on Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok - I still make the news feed more or less but my attention is now here. And I have a feeling it starts working out - but in fact it's a lot of work. The difference now is that I work for this website and not for a social media channel which changes the rules the way they want without even asking. Beside these things - I still use the plattforms as tools but not as working places anymore. But I decided to do all the creative stuff now on my secondary YouTube channel. This will include music, production, music philosophy in the full range of what I do and not only the blues rock guy on the HPCrazy YouTube Channel. And there is also the reason because this channel is not in the multi network channel of my music label which gave me quit some legal and creativ restrictions. On this channel I can do what I want. I did not have any time left in the past years because being an influencer you were non-stop busy with creating new content to feed the alogerithm and I got really tired of it. HP

The other guys are technically great but they don't really touch with there music - this guy does and I can tell he is technically brilliant even he is not doing the " flashy " stuff - his focus is on expression and tone...

I recorded this video directly after the video shooting to the tutorial below. On this day there was a Pluto, Mars and Venus conjunction which is very intense and transformativ. Pluto the planet of transformation offered me an opportunity to now create a band which is willing to play my guitar music ( Venus ) and Mars can be associated with rock or blues rock music. Sounds like you are going in the right direction - the combination of rhythm and lead guitar needs automatisms and deeper understanding of music and that's exactly what you are working on.

Yeah Gary Moore was one of my " greats " when I learnt guitar.

This guy is a bass player but for me he represents the new young generation of guitar players because he also includes all extended playing techniques into one playing style and the techniques are very similar.

This is a great tune where the theme shows how bebop works.

I will start to upload random performance video's which I record mostly direct after I recorded a tutorial and I started to upload them on my TikTok account which created way more traffic then when I upload it here on my main YT channel. Don't ask me what the reason is for that because I don't know. Anyway - since not everybody has TikTok i will upload the same content on my 2nd YouTube channel and also post them here on my website in the Guitar department. You can support my efforts to get more traffic on those videos by subscribing to that channel as well... and BTW help me to reach out 1 K subscribers there. I would be really grateful. The reason I can not upload those video's which I upload to TikTok to my main channel is because I have a few legal restrictions and I am not allowed to do that. This is a cool and laid back version of Stevie Wonders " Isn't She Lovely " played on the nylon guitar. I recorded this version direct after the video shooting of the tutorial and beside many possibilities of the vibe of the improvisation I decided to go for the extremly laid back and cool type of improvisation. In my view less notes often sound like more music then too many notes. The nylon guitar has such a nice sound when you want to rest just in one note and enjoy that one note.
