Here you learn the very first steps to play some melody or solo on the guitar by learning the basic positions of the minor and the major pentatonic and by starting to use them together with a backing track. There are 2 main tasks : 1 - move your fingers on the fretboard and learn a first pattern. 2 - learn the basics of rhythm notation and tabs. Here you can download the files associated to this tutorial :- Guitar Beginners 4 - Basic Pentatonic ( Tabs & Backing Track )
- 10 downloads
- Version 1.0.0
Here you find the tabs for the basic pentatonic patterns in A Minor and A Major. You can notice that the patterns are exactly the same and only the position of it and the position of the root note ( red note ) is different. You can play both pentatonics to the backing track added. If you play the minor pentatonic to the track it will sound like blues and if you play the major pentatonic it will sound like a pop song. I have written 2 examples for you that you can see how you work with those pentatonics. The main beginner rule is : " Start on the root note ( the red note ) " The backing track is the same as from " Guitar Beginners 2 " - you can pratice with that one. A longer phase of discipline, blockades and continuous work on a vision ( Saturn - Sun transit ) is coming to an end these days. In particular, I had the idea that I wanted to give the jazz, smooth jazz, fusion segment a personal playing style and guitar sound. The problem I had always seen was that jazz guitar and smooth jazz guitar often had little emotional expression. I have now set out to completely redefine my playing technique and sound so that these genres can be played emotionally and with a personal vibe. After another of many tests today, I can say that I have achieved the goal I set myself and will now continue to play these genres on the guitar much more often. :-)- Rock Guitar Building Speed 3
Here I show you some shaolin exercises to build up muscle memory on 3 note per string modes and some economic picking arpeggios. Here you can download the files associated to this tutorial :- Rock Guitar - Building Speed 3 - Tabs & Backing Track

The backing track is on 80 bpm that you don't need to stress and can figure out the technique without a rush. These files are associated to this tutorial :Free- Personal News Feed
Check out my new blog entry about Guitar Playing Injuries and how to prevent / treat them. There is also a mental tip included and I will start to also make some tutorials about eartraing and mental exercises for guitar playing.- Dealing With Guitar Playing Injuries
When one plays guitar on a regular or daily basis you might run into injuries which were caused by guitar playing since our body is not designed to play guitar. The position of guitar playing is building up an asymmetric tension in the body which can lead to pain in your fingers, your hand, your elbow or your shoulder. The reason for the pain often comes from tension in your muscles from the upper part. Means if you have pain in your elbow then you have to check the muscles in your shoulder muscle. You can in fact prevent guitar playing injuries when you do some exercises besides the regular practicing. Here you find a selection : Beside the technical part there is also a mental part involved. Over the years of playing professional guitar I always had times where I ran into problems myself or I watched some of my students running into problems. The main reason for injuries from my point of view is when you are trying too hard to make things happen on the guitar. This tension leads to more tension in your muscles and your whole system and it can in fact lead to situations where you have to stop trying too hard because you cannot continue because of the pain you have. I found out myself that in such situations you can fix this by doing the body exercises on a regular basis AND ( that's even more important ) you slow down your efforts just with your body and try to train the things you are working on with mental exercises. Often it turns out that your fingers are faster than your mind and that from my point of view and experience is the main reason for having injuries through guitar playing. It makes sense that you start to do ear & mind training exercises and together with the physical exercises you will be fine in the timeframe of a few weeks - months again. Remember Guitar Playing is a journey to enjoy - always try to enjoy what you are doing on guitar - well also in life.- Heavy Shuffle Rock Guitar Riff

I have decided now to more and more switch from the " HPCrazy " identity to my real life name " Hanspeter Kruesi " - well in Switzerland it's written " Hanspeter Krüsi " pull more and more all my products and identities which have been summing up over the years to this website. So the links to the HPCrazy Academy will now all be : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com instead of https://www.hpcrazy.com/club.html I noticed that the main page gets shared more then the previous landing page so this makes total sense. The bigger task will be to get the Farbmusik tied up to this page since the idea of the Farbmusik in fact is the name which already says everything. There is also an english version available https://www.colourmusic.org but I found it cooler stay on the geman name also for the international communicate. Therefore an english version is available on that website https://www.farbmusik.com/eng It's quite a task to pull together everything - and I'll do it step by step A also started with pitching my music to LA music libraries again - here's a first attempt : https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/4APZQUk4Qa6RBRxeES6AsQ-the-storm-is-coming- Classic Hard Rock Guitar Riff 2

Music News I have started to compose again some time ago and I am now start pitching my music again to certain LA music libraries where I already have contracts. Therefore I have wonderful story to tell which gave me the impuls to do the pitching again : I also have doubled up my Farbmusik Concerts. The series continues now till at least April 2025 with a fullmoon concert in Seegräben and a new moon concert in Urdorf ( Switzerland ). The main event in fact is to be in the little churches embedded in light and music but we are trying hard to also give online viewers of the concerts a similar sensation. If you want to watch the concerts please check the upcoming events in the event calendar : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/events/ What I am trying to do with the Farbmusik is to redefine the musical genres by labeling music with colors and emotions instead of the usual genres. If you love that idea you can also support this huge work here : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/ or with a premium membership. If your membership has expired and you have difficulties in renewing it please don't hesitate to contact me. I think that was all now for the moment. Thanks for your attention and your support.
