Here you find the tabs and the backing track of " Basic Jazz Guitar Improvisation 4 " where you get some basic tabs and exercises over a I IV V progression in A minor. The special thing is that it switches from I- IV- V- to I- IV- V7 each time so that you always have to change the mode or the exercises on the V- or V7 by switching between the phrygian and phrygian nat. 3 mode. There is a cool backing track added which helps you to fullfill the task. These files are associated to this tutorial here :Free -

This is now a first jazz guitar recording. This is a spontanious improvisation ( sight reading ) to the tune " On The Sunny Side Of The Street ". I wanted the tune to sound sweet and groovy. Even I did the improvisation with sight reading I am quite happy with the result because it sounds fresh and curious. I liked to do this slight " detune " effect with bendings on the highlighted notes of the melody.

Here you find some easy rock guitar licks in the D major and D minor pentatonic which are very similar. They both work on the backing track added. If you use the major pentatonic you sound more rock-style and if you use the minor pentatonic you sound more blues style. The interesting part is to mix them to create a cool rock guitar solo on progression which works for both. These files are associated to this tutorial :Free -
------------------------- Here orange film music which is based on the movie “Finding Nemo”. Here you find 3 really cool heavy shuffle rock guitar licks which work great on any shuffle rock guitar with a bluesy vibe. Pay attention to the " slides " and " let ring " notes - they suppose to simulate a bottleneck type of guitar playing which fits great here. If you want to learn the riff as well you will find it here : These files are associated to this tutorial here :Free -
