  1. Check out my new blog entry about Guitar Playing Injuries and how to prevent / treat them. There is also a mental tip included and I will start to also make some tutorials about eartraing and mental exercises for guitar playing.
  2. When one plays guitar on a regular or daily basis you might run into injuries which were caused by guitar playing since our body is not designed to play guitar. The position of guitar playing is building up an asymmetric tension in the body which can lead to pain in your fingers, your hand, your elbow or your shoulder. The reason for the pain often comes from tension in your muscles from the upper part. Means if you have pain in your elbow then you have to check the muscles in your shoulder muscle. You can in fact prevent guitar playing injuries when you do some exercises besides the regular practicing. Here you find a selection : Beside the technical part there is also a mental part involved. Over the years of playing professional guitar I always had times where I ran into problems myself or I watched some of my students running into problems. The main reason for injuries from my point of view is when you are trying too hard to make things happen on the guitar. This tension leads to more tension in your muscles and your whole system and it can in fact lead to situations where you have to stop trying too hard because you cannot continue because of the pain you have. I found out myself that in such situations you can fix this by doing the body exercises on a regular basis AND ( that's even more important ) you slow down your efforts just with your body and try to train the things you are working on with mental exercises. Often it turns out that your fingers are faster than your mind and that from my point of view and experience is the main reason for having injuries through guitar playing. It makes sense that you start to do ear & mind training exercises and together with the physical exercises you will be fine in the timeframe of a few weeks - months again. Remember Guitar Playing is a journey to enjoy - always try to enjoy what you are doing on guitar - well also in life.

  6. I have decided now to more and more switch from the " HPCrazy " identity to my real life name " Hanspeter Kruesi " - well in Switzerland it's written " Hanspeter Krüsi " pull more and more all my products and identities which have been summing up over the years to this website. So the links to the HPCrazy Academy will now all be : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com instead of https://www.hpcrazy.com/club.html I noticed that the main page gets shared more then the previous landing page so this makes total sense. The bigger task will be to get the Farbmusik tied up to this page since the idea of the Farbmusik in fact is the name which already says everything. There is also an english version available https://www.colourmusic.org but I found it cooler stay on the geman name also for the international communicate. Therefore an english version is available on that website https://www.farbmusik.com/eng It's quite a task to pull together everything - and I'll do it step by step A also started with pitching my music to LA music libraries again - here's a first attempt : https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/4APZQUk4Qa6RBRxeES6AsQ-the-storm-is-coming

There is a new department available : Touch Technique Here you can learn my version of the Touch Technique which was invented by Stanley Jordan, where you play the guitar like a piano player by using both hands on the fretboard to create an unheard rich sound on the guitar. I know this technique is new and challenging for everybody so we are starting a course where any player on any level can learn this technique from scratch. Here you find the department : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/forum/43-learn-touch-technique/ and here you find the first lesson of the course : I know this technique is challenging for everybody who starts with it. If you have any questions don't hesitate to raise your voice in the academy. and there is a new course available : Basic Jazz Improvisation This course is for eveybody who want's to start with jazz and it takes you step by step from scratch into the world of Jazz Improvisation. If you go that path I strongly recommend that you open up your own students blog and write about your progress and where your problems are. There will be cliffs coming since jazz improvisation is not an easy task and comes with a lot of theory. There I can give you some proper advice. Here you find the students blogs : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/blogs/ and here you find the new course : and now lets move on to the latest news in the Guitar Academy : Blues Cool Drop D Blues Guitar Riff : Here I show you a very cool drop D blues guitar riff. Music News I have started to compose again some time ago and I am now start pitching my music again to certain LA music libraries where I already have contracts. Therefore I have wonderful story to tell which gave me the impuls to do the pitching again : I also have doubled up my Farbmusik Concerts. The series continues now till at least April 2025 with a fullmoon concert in Seegräben and a new moon concert in Urdorf ( Switzerland ). The main event in fact is to be in the little churches embedded in light and music but we are trying hard to also give online viewers of the concerts a similar sensation. If you want to watch the concerts please check the upcoming events in the event calendar : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/events/ What I am trying to do with the Farbmusik is to redefine the musical genres by labeling music with colors and emotions instead of the usual genres. If you love that idea you can also support this huge work here : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/ or with a premium membership. If your membership has expired and you have difficulties in renewing it please don't hesitate to contact me. I think that was all now for the moment. Thanks for your attention and your support. HP
