This is my first Guitar Night after a long break. I have been preparing intensively. This included getting to know my new concert guitar and adapting my playing technique to the sound characteristics of this instrument, but also a new interpretation of pieces from the jazz and blues genres. The theme of this first Guitar Night is : Pure Jazz & Blues. For guitar freaks among you. I plan to do most of the program with a simple sound ( Fender Deluxe Amp with and without analog delay and spring reverb ) without any other technical aids ( backing tracks or loopers ). It's an experiment, because I don't know if such a program is entertaining at all. Since I'm still in the experimental phase, the concert will only take place as a livestream. I wanted to give an update here : I was held back to get familiar with Mrs. Blue for a while since I needed a replacement of a screw on the tremolo system and it took quite a while till I got the original from PRS but since then I started to get to know this guitar. How does this work ? I go through sounds, pickup settings and playing techniques and see how the guitar reacts and can display the tone and what is needed in the playing technique to express the maximum bandwidth of the sound possibilities. The journey still did not end but what I can already say is that this guitar is beyond anything I ever experienced and it is really able to push creative possibilities to a whole new level and it is really fun and inspirational. I am still suffering from the hole in my cash pocket since the price was way beyond too but in fact this guitar was worth every cent I spent. Here you can hear how great this guitar can sound. This is just the natural sound of the guitar with a tube preamp and an ambient reverb.

Well it's really a cool tune and I thought It's possible. But once you listen nearer to it you find that he is doing something really wild and that's exactly the alternate picking with the thumb + the rest. I guess that's why this one tune influenced so many players after him. It's really cool but impossible to play if you are not exactly into that playing style.

I checked it out today - and got somewhere but one thing I could not manage to do because it's outside my skills of playing. Alternate picking with the thumb - thats probably why there are not many guys around who could manage to do this boogie. Check out this tutorial - this guy is able to play it pretty original and he gave me the hint with the alternate picking of the thumb. Thats in fact a wild technique I never tried before and I can tell I will not learn this on the fly. So I must pass on this....

Farbmusik Concert - Aquarius Fullmoon Freedom, creativity and surprising twists ! Full moon concerts with piano and / or guitar to the corresponding astrological constellations. I improvise colors to the full moon on the piano and / or guitar. Through the light and the music, colors can be experienced with all the senses. The full moon / lunar eclipse provide a mystical, multidimensional color - experience. Where possible, I play with instruments tuned to 432Hz. In the first part of the concert current improvisations are played and in the second part the audience is allowed to wish for colors themselves and with selected pieces the audience can spontaneously sing along or improvise. Here you find some tabs based on the typical playing style of Rock N Roll guitar which was much influenced by Chuck Berry's playing style. In the tabs you find a typical rhythm guitar of a rock n roll in 130 bpm in the key of Bb, then one full solo with the typical playing style inspired by his tune " Johnny B Good '' and then 3 repeating licks which you can use in any rock n roll guitar solo.
