Slap Guitar Solo ( Markus Miller Style )- Tutorial Have you ever wanted to make a cool guitar solo with slap technique like Markus Miller or other cool bass players ? Then this tutorial is for you. I show you the adapted playing technique that you can slap on your guitar and create some cool slapping guitar licks. You can do this with a normal clean guitar sound or if you have an octaver you can also add some of that effect to give it a more punchy bass line. The examples I am showing are kind of a guiding line through this kind of playing and the technique of the picking hand is a bit altered from the normal bass technique which works better on the thinner strings on guitar. Guitar Secrets - Basic Rhythm ( Complete Beginners Course ) Rhythm is one part of the music and guitar education which is often a bit neglected but it’s a very important part of music. It makes 50% of the musical expression. So this is in fact a " Must Have " tutorial. If you don’t know rhythm and timing you will have difficulties making music. This tutorial talks about the basics of rhythm and timing and is meant for beginners but if you are a more experienced player and never have done this before I strongly recommend that you also do this entire tutorial. Even if you think that you can play the basic rhythm figures, try to do it and give your practicing the maximum musical expression as I am decribing in the tutorial here. Below you find all chapters. Sitting here at my favorite spot for creative thoughts and meditation at Greifensee in Switzerland I am reviewing my personal experiences and findings during the past 12 months which of course have been affected by Covid 19 as well as for many of us and made me think about many things in life - also since in my personal life some things have changed for the good and some for the more difficult ways and it brought me to the finding that I will enter more into creative works again. In the past 12 months I was absorbed by many things also by the changements in our society and I needed to face that my business which was always running well over decades suddenly got into problems just because of the situation in our society. I was running 2 strategies. One just to survive as a musician in lockdown situations and the other to build my online business which I was about to leave before Covid striked the world. But I don't want to get too much into details since this is affecting all of us so here are my plans which I am about to follow during this year and which settled at the shore of this beautiful lake. 1. Social Media strategy - I will drive all traffic now to this website here. This will be the center of my activities in music and philosophical thoughts. I personally believe that it's best to become more independent from the big social media platforms. I have the RSS Feed activated here. You find it in the little orange symbol on the right bottom corner of this page. The RSS feed will be spread to my other websites and I am trying to pull all traffic here to this website. If you have a website and you want to support me you are free to use my RSS feed and embed it on your website. 2. HPCrazy Guitar Academy - The YouTube channel will remain and will keep the pace up to 2 tutorials per week but I will also add more lifestreams where you can get more background insight and also more concerts with different types of things I am working on. I try to get guests in my show but musicians currently are not really willing to collaborate in my surroundings. But it's a plan to enlarge the concept. I will also get more into different genres, playing styles and guitars. I have updated my gear tremendously and it will now come more into action on the HPCrazy YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/hpcrazycom 3. Farbmusik - I will start to put much more effort in the Farbmusik and specially in the section of meditation - and healing music and also will start to create concepts for healing with music. I will also bring in my knowledge of astrology - I am a professional Astrologer, I just never talked about it before in my official channels and in combination of that I am also a spiritual adviser and healer with the focus on healing with music, also by taking astrological constellations in account. You can expect many things to come. I will do this in german and in english. This will also include live streaming concerts and healing and meditation sessions live with music.I will also offer astrological / musical counselings - if you are interested please contact me. I started this work 2 years ago. This part of my knowledge was always hidden from my official music channels but I decided that's now the time to merge everything to one creative expression. And that's also one of the reasons I will pull all traffic from all channels now to this page. Hey Adrian, yeah now I remember sound I used on that tutorial. I have used a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 Amp and a 2*12 cabinet in my AXE FX III device and I added some reverb and some reverse delay. The reverse delay it not totally required but if you have one it makes your sound wide - when you use normal delay on clean sound settings it does not really work since the repeated notes are too clear and they mess up the overall melody you are playing. Solidstate amp works since for clean jazz tones solidstate amps are a very good option. All you need is a large reverb and you are ready to go. I guess your amp has reverb, if not I would strongly recommend to buy a reverb pedal. Single coil pickups are not 100% ideal for jazz sounds but if you use the neck pickup and cut the high frequencies a bit then you quite good sound. Single coils have a very clear and crispy sound which is not really what we want in jazz sounds - just if you think it sounds great for your ears then go for it. No rules here - just recommendations.

Cool Jazz Guitar Cat ( Timing & Phrasing ) Playing a cool and solid jazz guitar does not necessarily have to do with speed and runs - it's also about timing, space and phrasing. Miles Davis was the master of time and space in his phrasing so let's have a look at a few easy tricks to get into jazz guitar phrasing by understanding the rhythm which is played. In this case I am showing how to play a blues track and you can use the minor F minor pentatonic or the F blues scale. Jazz blues is mostly in the key of F or Bb - in this case F. Pay close attention to my instructions how to work with timing and how to modify rhythm figures. By understanding rhythm figures you can also start to modify them. The 2 4 feel is the center of all exercises. Play all examples with the 2 4 feel that gives you the right groove and makes you swing correctly. Yes questions are no problem anyway. I want that the community also the free ones grow here. I have pull most of the attention in the past to the social media accounts but I stopped this now. It might take a while. So the must be a feature for the free members as well to engage them to join the community..... and that would be the interaction.... at least thats my current setting I have.

well I create a lot of my stress myself with different projects. I always depends what I have the focus on. I have totaly updated my studio with new equipment. Some was very old and needed to be replaced and some of it was just to give me new inspiration. This one here is the AKAI Force. A great colorful tool where I can produce new music and specially for the HPCrazy Nights to give them finally the colorful vibe I always wanted to have. This is now a first try with a default setting and I must say I love it - I am looking forward to produce my own cool sounds and beats.
