New sound equipement I got a new amazing piece of equipement in my studio which I will use for my recording and my liveplaying. It is the Fractal Audio Axe FX Ultra - view http://www.fractalaudio.com/ Somebody recommend it to me and I bought it without hearing how it sounds.... and IT IS GREAT !!! The Ampmodels are great and the effects are really outstanding and they sound like the effects of the legendary Eventide H3000 or Lexikcon PCM70. And the latency of this thing is only 2ms ( compare with the line 6 POD - 5ms ) and yes this makes a great difference. You feel when you want to play fast. Guitartricks.com guitartricks.com is running through some major updates since the middle of September. Since I am one of the featured instructors I have to participate this work as well and it is a lot of work. All videos have to be re-shot in HD quality. I am half through this but from now one I have to take it a bit slower since other projects are coming now. Composing work I finaly got the assignment to compose the music to a movie which is currently in production. This will be the 175 anniversery movie of a worldwide very well know Swiss company. The movie be be only with music. This means that I have to compose over 30 minutes of music till the end of the year. Live performances I have a whole bundle of live performances coming up in the next few weeks and months. This will keep me very busy but I am glad that I have my Axe FX now. This tool is really what was need to take my touch technique abilties to the next level and to take it to a more modern version of it. I think when all is over I will start to record a new guitar - only CD with touch technique. Looking forward to it. Work overload I now am in the situation that I have that much work that I can not do this all on my own any more. So I started to hire somebody yesturday who will help me with graphic works and homepage design. If everything works out fine she will also be responsible to any future art work on CD's or DVD's. She is also a painting artist and doing a great job on that. Greets HP

Well the sellings are not outstanding but OK. And there is a market for instrumental music - currently I am working on some new stuff which will work out very good. I started this with a few liveperformances in spring 08 with the new concept and it was very successful - now I am working on a new CD and I will record a pure guitar CD next. I compose instrumental music for music libraries such as the one of Swiss national TV and I got a contract in spring 08 in Hollywood for my instrumental music. That's pretty cheap. You could give a shot - or you could work out producing your own music at your professional homestudio. In thes days you don't have to pick up that much money. HP

Yeah that's not too bad. Actually now I have 203000 views and I am in the youtube - suggestion list. Check for " hpcrazy "

Yeah seem to be. - that's why I had to raise prices here in the school to afford all my dating stuff.

I know I know but I save money because I don't feel like making other dates and hanging round in bars the whole time.

Ok gonna add it today. She is not my student anymore. I canceled the lessons yesturday. When you start dating your female students it is over with lessons. Kind of a golden rule

Well I did - that's what started my major crisis last year - I didn't look at anybody else until now.. Yeah the jam is actually only a 16th groove played with full distortion with a drop D tuning. I could add it in the jamtracks section. HP

This is song I recorded today - showing my emotions trying to be cool because I fell in love with a student of mine a few weeks ago and I was trying very hard not to show my emotions and staying cool. but_I_was_cool.mp3

4.9.08 Tomorrow is my birthday so I wanted to have all work finished to be able to celebrate it a bit tomorrow since I am going through a lot of hard working times in the last weeks. I wasn't even able to make a few days during my " official " holidays in summer. But here are the results : www.gitarrist.ch I have changed the entire design of my german website and adapted it the the design of hanspeterkruesi.com. The main new thing are the private online lessons. They are switched to HD video format now and actually they are really great. There is a new video where I play some stuff to show my playing style at http://www.gitarrist.ch/gitarrenunterricht.htm and the private online lessons are featured at http://www.gitarrist.ch/onlineunterricht/p...ktion/index.htm Music-pictures.com I have finished a assignement for a movie about Kenya where I was asked to compose some music for it. That wasn't easy at all even that I lived in Nairobi for 2 years when I was I kid. You can check the music I made at http://www.music-pictures.com/afrika . Guitartricks.com Guitartricks is going through some major changements which will be coming soon. This kept me busy for many weeks to get those standards on video editing they were asking for. But I guess it will be worth - I heard some very exiting news which I will announce as soon as it has come to real. I will advertise with a video about touch technique for guitartricks on http://www.ultimate-guitar.tv/ in the next weeks. I will keep you informed. My YouTube channel I checked my youtube channel this day and I was suprised that I already have 199000 views till now. So I decided to record 2 new videos where I play 2 jazzstandards with the touch technique. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLpRkKMpSm0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0x45GkI868

On guitartricks.com where I am a instructor there are major changements going on. Since my teaching method is a bit unconventional I needed to explain my method the the reasons the way I create my online lessons. Here is what I wrote.

Now it is done. In the next few hours hpcrazy.com will be shut down and will only link to www.hanspeterkruesi.com

Now actually that was Monika my pysical sister ( view http://www.schlegel-holzbau.ch/portrait.htm ) actually she is a typical Swiss woman and we do not have much which makes me feel that she is my sister. I just been thinking take I don't fit in the entire familly " Kruesi " since in the part I knew I am the only artist. But then I meet Christina Kruesi 4 months ago. She turned out to be a relative and the sister I always wanted to have... and that part of the familly reminds me much more how I am. So since we started to work together on http://www.music-pictures.com she is officially my sister since people stated to think we are married because we have the same name. also view http://www.ckruesi.ch Greetings HP

Thanks - after my sister Christina has told me over and over I had to change my domain and my artist name and the design I finally started now. We were talking about getting our project we have to NJ http://www.music-pictures.com/colormusic.htm - somebody she's knows very well ist one of the bosses at the time magazin. So chances might be good that we will make it there - but before I had to change my appearance in the web... strikt order ! The video will appear tomorrow. Still not finished to upload all files and now I am going to bed. HP

BTW - how you like the new very tight design of the main page ?

No panic on the titanic... just moving. The school is a bit more complicated that will take a other 24-48 hours but you will not notice any difference. If everything works out as planed you still can use any stored hpcrazy.com URL's and they will be redirected to the new domain. This will stay 1-2 years and then I guess I will finally shut HPCRAZY.COM down. Probably just keep the email - adress as a sentimal reminder of the last 10 years.

10.08.08 HPCRAZY.COm is getting shut down now. I have startetd to make the major chages which means that the time onn HPCRAZY.COM now finally has come to an end. I have been thinking a very long time about this - wheather this would not be dangerous since I have worked over 10 years to spread the name " HPCRAZY " . But I guess this step can not longer be avoided. It will take some time till all changements have gone through since the whole system is very complex. But this is now the very first but final step to do this. Kind of sad - but this will take me one step futher now. And check out the new design of my homepage. Greetings HP

New camera I am going to get myself a new camera. A Canon HV30 - this is a high definition camera and will rise the quality of the videos. Then slowy I will start to shift this school to the new quality. I am sure you are going to love it. Becoming a tougher teacher Since I always have beeing a very easy going teacher always thinking that fun on the guitar must be first - I have decided to become much thougher by telling you how things are and what is really required to reach certain goals on the guitar. My own experience was that learning the guitar is not always fun. Sometimes you have to work hard to get to the next step and from my 10 years experience of teaching online has showed that I have to ask from you a similar things since you are expecting me to take you to that road I have be gone myself. Of course there is a difference having professional ambitions or if you are playing just for fun - but still some things have to be done and as you teacher I will give you detailed instructions what you have to do to become a better guitarplayer. Opening of my blog I have decided to open up a blog here so that you can follow my work and my thoughts and nearly everything. All my normal students now these things since I use to talk a lot after the lesson is finished and here's now the opportunity for you Reset It might have pushed through that the time from Feb. 07 - Feb. 08 has been one of the hardest in my entire life which affected me in all parts of my life. I am quite happy that I least I did not fall ill so still could make the major changements I needed to. Now things are done. I am living at a very nice new place, I have a new studio, I have a new place for my remaining live students and I have got over my personal affairs. Feels like a full reset - was strange first but now I feel like I am starting everything from the beginning. Life teaching Looks like my life teaching has comme to a end. I have only very few remaining students ( those who were with me for years ) and the new place is actually not the place to keep it going and growing. It is more a place for a local guitar teacher and not the place which new students expect when they come to a testing lesson. I regret this a bit but I was not possible to get this organized better. Maybe it is in fact the time to let this go. Composing & filmusik I have started to get more professional in composing & filmmusik last year by releasing my website http://www.music-pictures.com . I got some contracts in the USA - one in Hollywood and I am working with Swiss national TV SF DRS. I have now released a series " dramatic sports " which shall be used on any sports broadcast on the Olymipcs in Bejing. You can listen to them at http://www.music-pictures.com/newsletter/news.htm and I have to make the music for a documentary film about East Afrika till the end of September. Live performances I have made a agreement with the person in charge of the St. Jakobs church in Zürich http://www.offener-st-jakob.ch/. I got the permission to perform 7 liveshows in the next month. This is in fact great news since this is one of the places to go in Zürich if you are willing to make something great and special in the cultural section. If I succed I can not what will happen New webidentity As time gets my hair more white I think it is time to let that " HPCRAZY " go. I will be more and more just Hanspeter Kruesi which is my real name. Currently http://www.hanspeterkruesi.com leads to hpcrazy.com but slowly slowy I will change this. These are now the latest news for you Greetings HP
