Here you find 3 basic slow blues exercises with double stops which you can use on a blues in G. This blues here has a standard form :
G7 / G7 / G7 / G7
C7 / C7 / G7 / G7
D7 / C7 / G7 / D7
The task in fact is to use those double stops and always know where inside the current blues form you are and after you completed the exercises start to become creative and use any pattern and exercise as long as you stay in the blues form. The backing track is as always my own production and is a blues in G with 80 bpm.

Here you find a selection of licks which work great on classic rock lead guitar. The key for those licks are the bendings, the way you anticipate the bendings, the vibrato on the bendings and resolving the licks on the root note. Additional you can also add some repeating licks where you make some rhythmic ajustments to make them sound more interesting. The backing track is in E minor and in 100 bpm.

Here you find some essential chords and mode patterns which you can use with the G mixolydian mode. I also wrote down some lick ideas which help you to understand how the mixolydian mode in fact is used in a jazz guitar setting. You mostly work around the chord notes and the 3rd in specific. On the 3rd you mostly use and approach note which in this case of G mixolydian is the A# which leads to the B ( 3rd of G7 ).
The backing track is produced in a manner that you might think you are inside the birdland club in NY.

Here you find some basic rock guitar legato exercises where you learn the Hammer - On and Pull - Off technique in the key of E minor in the open position, which makes the exercises easier at the beginning and also in the high position in the VII fret where this technique is normaly used. After the very basic exercises you find some combination of legato opening phrases and a long note played either with a vibrato or a bending, which is the normal way this kind of technique is used.

Here you find a very easy but cool Robben Ford style blues guitar riff which is using a chord voicing which just gets move one fret up oder down and creates a cool blues riff with the progression : E7#9 / A13 / E7#9 / B13.
You can improvise with the E minor blues scale on the E7#9 chord and with that scale including the C# on the A13 chords. On the B13 I recommend using either just the chord notes of the B7 chord or the half tone - full tone scale which sounds great on this specific situation. I have wrote a little example where you can check it out. The backing track is produced in the room of the famous " Bird Land " café in NY.
