Here you find a summary of exercises for the double handed guitar tapping ( touch technique ) where you can work out basic chord rhythms. These exercises are basic exercises taken from basic left - right hand independence exercises from piano playing. There are basically 2 types of exercises. You have those where you do ostinato figures with the left and right hand and make combinations and figures where you do independant figures of the left and the right hand. The selected chord progression is Am / Am / G / G . A very simple progression which includes both types of chords. There is an audio file added that you can hear how the tabs should sound alike. Here you find some easy tabs for the Touch Technique, where you play the song by tapping the notes with both hands. This one is really a nice and easy starter on meditation guitar and the touch technique which was invented by Stanley Jordan. The audio which is added shows you how the tabs exactly sound. But you can play the song more freely in the tempo and also with the melody which is played with the right hand. These files are associated to this tutorial here :

  9. Guitar Secrets - Crazy Guitar ( Bass ) Tapping You want to learn the secret of crazy guitar tapping and even sound like a bass player ? Then this tutorial is for you. I show you how to work out a simple improvisation with the chords Am / G / F with a crazy tapping technique where you play the guitar like a piano player. This technique is called touch technique and was invented by Stanley Jordan but my version is a little bit different from his technique because I use a standard guitar tuning. In this tutorial I show you how to work out a rhythm guitar with your left hand and then how to start to improvise with your right hand and then how to develop a simple theme with this technique. The improvisation technique is similar to the technique of solo piano concerts which I also did many besides solo guitar concerts. Here I am not providing any tabs but if you have questions please write me here. 🙂
