Learn Jazz Guitar Chords Here you can learn how to build and understand jazz guitar chords. You need to know the theory of the derivation of 7th chords from the basic modes. Every modes has 7 notes. You build a chord by stacking triads above each other starting from the root, triad, 5th and the 7th. The remaining 3 notes are the so called options which are different for every mode.
