In this lesson I explain on the example off my " orange blues " how you can work with different modes in an open timing blues in E. You can choose between E major, E mixolydian, A lydian and E minor pentatonic. This way you are able to spread your possibilites of expression dramaticly. Also working with different dynamic levels with your distortion and additional Wahwah can help you a lot to sound really dynamic and expressiv.
