This is a pretty open lesson where I show you a basic fingerpicking riff with easy chords. You can choose the one I am showing or something similar then try to get into improvisation and into expression and dynamics and improvisation. Since the licks and riffs are not so hard to play the trick is to have the focus on your expression, the way you feel the groove, the riff and the fill ins. Since SRV has his guitar tuned down to Eb ( half step ) its a bit tricky to teach. If you tune your guitar down you can use the original jamtrack and the tabs as they are displayed. And I show you how to play the original version of the intro at the beginning with these openstring parts. If you have a normal tuned guitar you can either use the alternate jamtrack to practice the openstring version. I the video I mainly use the alternatve version with a normal tuned guitar.
