Here you learn the theory about the modes in major. It is based on the diatonic chord progression in major. This lead to the following table showing the chord and the mode related to each note of the main major scale and the mode which is related to it. Even it looks so small and simple you should spend some time on it and learn by heart and try to find it on your fretboard. Intervalls with a " b " are half step low with a " # " a half step higher. One step is one fret.
