  10. Slow Blues ( The Jack Style ) Here you can learn a Slow Blues in the style of “ The Jack “ by ACDC. This is a blues with 60 BPM and in the key of E. First I going to show you the chords and the chord riff which is played and which make the signature sound of this Blues and then I going to show you a simple improvisation with the Question - Answer - Resolution “ concept. The concept works like this : You first play a motive which represents the question then play It again. After that you play the answer then play the question again and at the end comes the resolution. This is the improvisation concept which is used conscious or unconscious in most of the Blues compositions and blues improvisations. I show you the musical motifs in detail and with the proper timing. That way you understand how you can variate them in a easy way by just making variations on the timing signature. If you want to play the Jack by ACDC exactly the way as it played just listen to the original song and adapt the chords and the chord riff you learned here to the chords which are used there. But they are more or less the same and the riff is a very common blues riff which got famous by the song of AC DC. The chords which are used here are : E7 / E7 / E7 / E7 / A7 / A7 / E7 / E7 / B / A7 / E7 / B Slow Blues E ( The Jack Style ) .pdf Slow Blues E ( The Jack Style ) .gp slow blues ( The Jack Style ).mp3

  12. Easy Advanced Slow Blues Concept Here you can learn an easy Advanced Slow Blues concept. in this case it is a Slow Blues in the key of A and its in 50 beats per minute which is very slow. Because this is a very slow blues it is makes sense to have a more complex Blues form to make the whole song sound more interesting. Now the trick to have a very nice soloing in your Slow Blues is to understand the chords the music form and what you can play to those chords. This guitar tutorial shows you a complex Slow Blues form with advanced chords but a easy way to follow those chords and to have a very cool sounding solo guitar with only few notes on this Blues form. So to get started first learn the chords and the form and then which scales can be played to which chords. You really need to know the blues form by heart and be able to hear the chords even if you're not playing your guitar. Chords 2:10 Here are the courts displayed which are used in this Advanced Slow Blues. A7 / A7 / D7 / D#dim A7 F#m7 / B7 E7 / A7 D7 / A7 E7 Viewing those chords you notice that is not a usual Blues form it's more a mix between jazz blues and a simple Blues. We have to turnaround in this Blues one works on a 1-6 2-5 progression and the other one is normal Slow Blues turnaround with 1-4-1-5. Easy Lead Guitar 6:27 For the soloing we are using the a blues scale and a mix between the A minor pentatonic and the A major pentatonic. Now the trick is when do you use which scale and how he makes the whole thing to make it sound great. You can play the a blues scale on the over the entire blues form but think this is a very slow Blues we need to make it sound more interesting by using the other scale which is a mixture. you was the mixed scale on the chords D7 D# dim and on the turn around where the F#m and F#7 B7 shows up. To do this you need to know the form by heart and hear when the chords are coming. So The challenge on this advanced Blues is not the technical part since we're playing only few notes but it's to know exactly when which chord comes and when to play which notes which refers to the current chord. easy advanced slow blues concept.pdf easy advanced slow blues concept.gp Slow Blues A 50.mp3
