Here I show you an original of mine which is in fact a romantic spanish guitar balade. It is a wonderful chord progression in the key of Bm played in 6/8. The first part is for beginners among you by using the regular chords which you might already know. The 2nd part is more demanding and uses great open string chords by using the same chord progression but with in fact quit demanding chords. But they really sound nice and romantic. In Peace ( Cinematic Spanish Guitar Waltz ) The waltz is the musical expression of eternity. The music moves all around in circles. So this original of mine is an expression of a meditativ spanish guitar waltz. This was the first cinematic composition I have done since quit a while and I am really happy with the result. To give the nylon guitar this dreamy and expressiv touch I often work with a high quality cathedral reverb and some reverse delay set on the beat on the tune. Here you can learn some wonderful guitar chords which work well for flamenco or spanish guitar on an intermediate guitar playing level. First I show you the chords of this song in Bm which I created. I show them with finger picking but you can also use your guitar pic. It's not typical flamenco guitar technique but in the vibe of great players like Paco de Lucia, Al di Meola or others.
