The Green Manalishi ( Peter Green - Fleetwood Mac )
Here you can learn the main parts of the song The Green Manalishi by Peter Green. Show me the easy to play but there are many different parts in it which makes it hard to memorize the parts. In this tutorial I am showing you the main parts so slowly that you can learn them one by one and then listen to the song a few times to put them together to the full song. When it comes to the meaning of the song the green ones was asked what the green manalishi exactly means and he replied that he meant the addiction to money and I think the dollar bill is green we have it. He also said another time that when he composed this song it took him 2 years to recover from the intensity of the song and I must say I do somehow understand it because it is a very wonderful and intense blues rock song. Dynamic Minor Blues Concept
Dynamic Minor Blues Concept A minor blues is often a musical form with three chords and a dramatic shift in the music itself. In this case we have a little riff which is made out of two bars with A minor and in the second bar F and G. The trick to create an amazing minor blues is to have dynamic shifts in your playing and your expression on the guitar. You can compare it to storytelling. You want to make the story simple but interesting and it's the same in music. You have simple chords but you want to make it sound interesting. And that's exactly the point where this tutorial comes into perfect place. I am showing you how to make variations in sound, in playing and in expression of those three chords A minor, F and G which are used often in minor blues or other minor balade settings. One essential trick is your dynamic attack on the strings which gives you variations in your distorted sound. By adding vibrato to the chords you can make them sound more dramatic and more expressive. Different types of fingering of the cords of the attacking and of the expression is the main topic of this guitar tutorial and will help you to get your unique individual guitar sound in a minor blues. Easy Pro Major Pentatonic Guitar Licks
Easy Pro Major Pentatonic Guitar Licks Here you can learn three easy pro major pentatonic guitar licks. The major pentatonic is very similar to the minor pentatonic. it is not used very often since the guitar is more like a minor instrument but when you have a song in a major key you have to use the major pentatonic. if you don't know the major pentatonic is very easy to achieve. Just move your normal minor pentatonic pattern 3 frets down move the root note the second note of the pattern and there we have it . major pentatonic sound pretty asian style and cheesy if you don't use it the proper way. In this tutorial I show you the three main licks which always work for major pentatonic and I must say these are the only three ones which really work with the major pentatonic. So in this case it's really good to know who don't relate so just follow my instructions and then you know how to use the major pentatonic in a professional proper way. Become A Better Rock Rhythm Guitar
Here you can learn how to become a better Rock rhythm guitar player. This tutorial is for all rock guitar players out there who want to become really steady rhythm machines such as Malcolm Young or Mike Whiteford's of Aerosmith. Having a real steady and tight Rock Rhythm guitar means that you involve your whole body into the Rhythm while you're playing and that you are counting the beats 1 2 3 4 consciously. So this tutorial is about how to do you train your whole body in your whole system to play rock chords with a typical rock technique and moving your foot to the beat and counting and having the whole system going simultaneously. Some exercises seem like to be total beginner exercises but if you have never done this to exercises before and you are an intermediate or even a pro guitar player you really need to have those exercise done properly. I can only speak of my own experience that I underestimated those exercises a lot when I just left my music University and I learned the hard way but if you haven't done the basics right you are not able to play complex stuff tight and in the proper timing. So just go through those exercise I'm showing you and if you're able to do all of them properly and all in different tempo’s then you don't have to do these exercises anymore. These exercises are the basis of everything when it comes to rhythm rock guitar. Become a better rock rhythm guitar.pdf Become a better rock rhythm guitar.gp become a better rock rhythm guitar.mp3

Smooth Latin Minor Blues
You can learn a smooth latin minor blues on guitar. The musical form is basically a minor blues in the key of C minor by having a 12 bar blues : You can see the chords in the form below. Cm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 Fm7 / Fm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 Gm7 / Fm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 First time showing you how to play those chords with a finger picking technique. It is a Latin Rhythm or Groove and is based on switching between the thumb and the index middle and ring finger. The thumb make the bass and the movement and the other fingers make the chord. Therefore please follow my instructions in this tutorial. Timing and rhythm is essential and there I gave your close instructions how you count and how you switch between the base and the chords. The C Minor 7 chord is a little bit difficult to grab but with some exercise you might be able to do it in the way I am showing. The melody or lead guitar works around these so-called options. I used the ninth as a target note in the improvisation. For the C minor 7th chord the 9th is the D and for the F minor 7 its the G. In the improvisation I'll show you an easy method how to play around those arget notes. If you want to go into phrasing it is essential that you can play the C minor scale in 16th notes on at least 90 BPM. This way you are able to make a movement in the scale you are playing and to achieve a great phrasing which works wonderful for this latin minor blues song. Strengthen Your Immune System Music Meditation
This is a method of meditation where I strengthen my immune system. I've been doing this kind of visualization technique which I am showing you here for a long time in my life and for me it always worked as a great add to normal health routines. The technique is very simple. It works with a visualization of your own silhouette by closing your eyes I'm concentrating on your breath. Try to visualize your silhouette and send light through it. Sunlight is pretty much the color which works best for this but you can choose the one with you like most. concentrate on your breath and the visualization. If you see any dark spots or darker areas in your silhouette try to make them lighter by sending light through it by your thoughts and visualizing technique. Sometimes it needs some concentration to make those aereas lighter and sometimes it takes several attempts of this meditation and visualization technique to permanently make those spots lighter or completely disappear. The music with your hearing in this video is the color yellow and should help you and support you in this visualization technique. I have been several years on research and personal experience on this technique in combination with the music and for me it always worked. I found that now is the time to share my knowledge to everybody who is interested but please don't take this as a all over technique which work for everything and use it as an additional tool in your health routine. Make your own experience on this technique and and try how it works best for you. What I can contribute is that the music you're hearing is part of my research which I did in colors. The music gives an extra emotional boost to the meditation technique and shall help you to get deeper into meditation and deeper into your emotions which should support any kind of meditation or visualization techniques. Try it out yourself and see if it helps you if yes I'm glad that I could help. Here you can listen to the song without my comments :

Expressive Blues Rock Rhythm Guitar
Here you can learn how to play an expressive blues-rock rhythm guitar. Blues rock riffs are often very simple music forms which probably sound a little bit boring if you repeat the same thing all over again. In this tutorial I am showing you a few tricks how you can create an expressive rhythm guitar by working with your volume knob or your volume pedal or by attacking the guitar strings harder or adding little guitar gimmicks in the rhythm guitar parts. Music is often pretty similar than like telling a story you start from A and go to B by putting up the dramaturgy. This way make it more interesting for the listener to follow the story you are telling. That is the main trick to make simple music from sound very interesting and engaging. In this tutorial you learn the essential tricks with distorted guitar and distorted sounds. The guitar if I am playing is taken from my song Back On The Road. Hi Sara, yes that makes sense. I think about a few licks and make the tutorial. Not today since I did blues in the past 2 tutorials. Endings are always the tricky part - like flying an airplane taking off and landing is the tricky part of a song - once you are in the air all works easy and fine. Yes the past few weeks were challenging for everybody I guess. I am glad I could contribute something for others. ?

Mick Taylor Slow Blues
Here you can learn the Riff of Mick Taylors " Slow Blues ". I have worked out the first 2 versions of his recording. Of course there a other slight variations of the riff on his recording but blues is often jammed so you dont have to go too hard on the line of the recording. At the end I give you some ideas how to make a easy pro sounding solo on a slow blues like this by using " meh dräck " which means " more dirt " and working on your bendings and shifting positions. Easy Advanced Slow Blues Concept
Easy Advanced Slow Blues Concept Here you can learn an easy Advanced Slow Blues concept. in this case it is a Slow Blues in the key of A and its in 50 beats per minute which is very slow. Because this is a very slow blues it is makes sense to have a more complex Blues form to make the whole song sound more interesting. Now the trick to have a very nice soloing in your Slow Blues is to understand the chords the music form and what you can play to those chords. This guitar tutorial shows you a complex Slow Blues form with advanced chords but a easy way to follow those chords and to have a very cool sounding solo guitar with only few notes on this Blues form. So to get started first learn the chords and the form and then which scales can be played to which chords. You really need to know the blues form by heart and be able to hear the chords even if you're not playing your guitar. Chords 2:10 Here are the courts displayed which are used in this Advanced Slow Blues. A7 / A7 / D7 / D#dim A7 F#m7 / B7 E7 / A7 D7 / A7 E7 Viewing those chords you notice that is not a usual Blues form it's more a mix between jazz blues and a simple Blues. We have to turnaround in this Blues one works on a 1-6 2-5 progression and the other one is normal Slow Blues turnaround with 1-4-1-5. Easy Lead Guitar 6:27 For the soloing we are using the a blues scale and a mix between the A minor pentatonic and the A major pentatonic. Now the trick is when do you use which scale and how he makes the whole thing to make it sound great. You can play the a blues scale on the over the entire blues form but think this is a very slow Blues we need to make it sound more interesting by using the other scale which is a mixture. you was the mixed scale on the chords D7 D# dim and on the turn around where the F#m and F#7 B7 shows up. To do this you need to know the form by heart and hear when the chords are coming. So The challenge on this advanced Blues is not the technical part since we're playing only few notes but it's to know exactly when which chord comes and when to play which notes which refers to the current chord. easy advanced slow blues concept.pdf easy advanced slow blues concept.gp Slow Blues A 50.mp3

Maceo Parker Funk Style - Guitar Lesson
Here you can learn the funk music style of Maceo Parker. He was a popular funk musician back in the 90s and dedicated to funk music. The guitar work which I'm showing is basically on the cool 90 BPM level with some easy chords in D Minor and I am showing you three easy licks which make you sound like a real funk guitar pro. Chords 2:02 The song I am showing is basically a minor blues in the key of D minor. Dm7 / Dm7 / Dm7 / Dm7 G m7 / Gm7 / Dm7 / Dm7 Bb7 A7 / Ab7 G7 / Dm7 / A7#9 The chords which I'm showing you are not hard to play but the rhythm is the challenging part of it. pay close attention to my instructions how to place your 16 notes on the exact point where they need to be and then you're really precise and sound like a truly professional sounding funk guitar player. If you are new to this kind of rhythm just do the method which I'm showing you by counting 4 notes per beats and pointing out which exact note you want to hit and then you're on the perfect road to go for a perfect timing. in the video I am giving you the instructions how to do this. The end of the form is a role of so-called extended dominants which is basically a row of more than two dominants in one row and is a common technique in the genre. They are anticipated by a 16th note and I'm giving attentions instructions how you point them at those exact points. 3 easy pro licks for solo 7:17 For soloing this kind of music it is essential that you also have a precise timing. Playing fast runs or fast licks is not really the direction which leads to the goal. Better make some short tasty little guitar licks and place them precise on the rhythm. I am showing you three examples of how you can do that and give you instructions how to place them precise in the rhythm. Once you learned those three examples you can just make variations with different notes but keeping the same rhythm and then you can start to improvise in a easy and precise way.
