Here's a cool recordings based on a cool jamtrack. I recorded this track this morning still with my cup of coffee and believe it or not it was the first take without any warm up.
Here some explainations which might give you some inspiration.
First I beginn with a simple lick taken as a motiv to enter the soloing. When the chord got changed I take a other lick as a entry to the next step. In the 2dn chorus I put up the intensity by moving upward the fretboard and putting more intensity into the bendings. In the 3rd chorus I get more into jazzy licks but still having that bluesy touch with the bendings and I end up in the high postion. On the 4th chorus I get the tension again a bit down and I repeat the one lick I entered in the first chorus and taking it to the 5th chorus where we have the fade out.
