again I am a bit late but here is now the newsletter for the month March 26.

3D Music ( Dolby Atmos )

Last month has been a very busy month. I have done a lot of research in modern audio production and I was able to achieve my goals in order to produce music in Dolby Atmos rendered down to a so called binaural audio format. In short words this is 3D music productions and this will solve the main problem in solo guitar and solo piano recordings that in normal stereo productions the recordings don't give the listener a real feeling for the room and this cuts off the emotional experience of such recordings. In the very near future there will be 3D binaural recordings available for all premium members - so better get your headphones ready. 3D music only works either in large cinema's with Dolby Surround systems or headphones.

Blues Guitar - Mixolydian Mode : The most common question in many years of teaching guitar is how to use the mixolydian mode in blues guitar. Here I show you a good method to start using the mixolydian mode the easy way just by following the regular chords of this standard blues in D with the following chord progression :

Slow Blues Guitar Training - Chord Variations : One of the crucial things I always teach my students is that you always need to know where you are in the music and feel what is the best thing to do next. At the beginning this is of course a task for everybody and the way to succeed is to reduce the difficulty level and to focus on the music and musical form. Here in this tutorial I show you how to use some very basic chord variations and how to follow this blues in G with your chord variations.

Rock

High Intensity Rock Lead Guitar Tricks : Here I show you some tips, tricks and licks that you can play on a high intensity rock lead guitar with 120 bpm. The trick is to set a counterpoint to the speed of the track and to fill it with intensity.

Creative Hard Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show a creative hard rock guitar riff over a simple progression :

Am / Am / Am C D.

The trick to sound great is to learn how to do a development arc in your guitar playing and your hard rock guitar riffs and here I show you some examples how you can do it.

Bluesy Smooth Jazz Guitar : Here I give you bluesy tips and tricks how you can give your bluesy guitar playing a smooth jazz guitar vibe by referring to each of the chords of the progression which are

Ebm7 / Ebm7 / Abm7 / Abm7 /
Ebm7 / Ebm7 / Bb7alt / Bb7alt

The trick is that you always know where you are and to start to play around the defined key notes of each chord or add some simple figures in combination with you normal and regular blues licks.

Sunny - Advanced Smooth Jazz Guitar Improvisation : Here we dive into some advanced ideas on a smooth jazz guitar improvisation on the popular song " Sunny ". I talk about how to combine the blues scale and the modes of the song with chromatic smooth guitar licks to a joyful and relaxed smooth jazz improvisation on " Sunny ".

here is now finally the newsletter for the month of April 26 .

First of all I can say that a longer phase of innovation has been succesfully completed with the goal to react to the changements caused by AI in the creative sector. I have invested a lot of time to explore audio production methods for solo guitar, duo guitar and other formats in Dolby Atmos.

Why Dolby Atmos ?

Because this production method brings the sound and feeling of a high class concert hall direct to your headphones. To experience that format all you need are regular headphones. Here is a first recording which you can check out :

When you listen to this track you might notice that you feel like you are pysicaly standing in a concert hall with great acoustics. That's the path I want to go and that works great specific on solo or duo guitar recordings. It's not fancy but it has a great effect on your hearing experience.

At the end I also explain to you the concept of " living in the tone " which is crucial from my point of view in a melodic major blues guitar.

Ueber Cool Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show you a ueber cool rock guitar riff played with a drop D tuning. The riff itself is easy to play but the rhythm in fact is the part which defines your coolness in your rock guitar riff.

Basic Rock Guitar Training - First Licks : Here you learn your first rock lead guitar licks. The key of all rock guitar solo's are the bendings in the root pentatonic position and the speed of your picking hand. Both of these tasks are discussed here that you can start your basic rock guitar training and if you follow my instructions you might be able to fullfill the task in the timeframe of 3 weeks.

Hypnotic Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show you a very cool hypnotic rock guitar riff which you can play with chicken picking to make the sound a bit more hypnotic and additional I show you some variations to raise the energy while you play along.

Jazz

Basic Bossa Nova Guitar - Easy Solo 1 : Here we are making our first steps of soloing to a simple bossa nova track with the chord progression I-7 / I-7 / II-7b5 / V7 in the key of Am. The key to any improvisation is that you learn to follow the chord progression and the chords while you are playing. And here I give you some very first and easy exercises to train that.

Intermediate Smooth Jazz Guitar - Mixolydian Mode : Here I teach you the first steps from switching from the minor and major pentatonic patterns to the mixolydian patterns in order to start playing the mixolyidan mode in a smooth jazz guitar setting.

Basic Bossa Nova Guitar - Easy Rhythm 1 : Here you learn the very basics of bossa nova rhythm in your improvisation. The key is that you learn to count while you play along with the backing track and that you get able to play any on or offbeat note.

Since I was so absorbed with innovation in the past 12 months the HPCrazy Guitar Nights did not take place anymore. Now I will restart it on May 17th with a new concept : Jazz'n Blues'n Colors

Music News

I am glad that my Farbmusik Concerts finally got some local funding. This will allow to professionalize the whole series. It is still a small concert series but the audience is slowly growing and the team is getting more professional each time. Specificly we are working hard to make the livestream really professional.

and of course my Dolby Atmos concept is spreading everywhere. I personaly think that this is the future of audio production because it is getting pushed by Apple Music, Steinberg and others. A first release is now out on Apple Music ( Choral Of The Spirits ) and more will follow.

And even more news :

The local churches in Egg hired me as a piano and a guitar player on a ongoing manner. There I will bring in my music into any types of ceremonies and I can already tell that the local people really love it.

and last but not least - it might be a bit to early but I can tell that I'll soon be the co-president of Swiss Music Pedagogic (V)Association ( Winterthur - Zürcher Oberland ) from May 26 on and help the organisation in the region but also Swisswide to get to the next level in the 21st century. I will keep you guys updated.

These were so many news now - you can see how busy I was in the past months and I am glad I have a few more quit weeks ahead now.

Here is now the newletter of the month May 26,

Two weeks ago I was invited to attend a new creator event organized by YouTube and Google in the headquarter of Google in Zürich. It's was fun to be there again and to meet other creators. I got some really interesting insight to the near future of the digital world and it also confirmed that I am on the right path here to build an independant community which I hope that more of you users start to use. Even with the free version you can interact here and share and post things. Of course I was talking about my e-e-a-t-r.com concept which is the core of this website and I got some interest for it but I noticed that I am still ahead of current developments.

I have been quite busy reorganizing my concert projects and also to restart my composition workflow specifically in the range of symphonic compositions. This was pretty time-consuming but the results are now on the top professional level which I wanted to establish. There have been a lot of things going on in the past 4 weeks. So lets go step by step :

SMPV

I have now been voted in as an official member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Music Pedagogic Association Winterthur / Zürcheroberland. smpv.ch - the foto is still not there but I guess it will come soon when we have our first meeting with the new Board of Directors. My goal is to bring in my strategic experience in professional online music education of the past 25 years to help this largest music association in Switzerland to gain back the relevance they had when made my SMPV diploma after my university guitar studies in the mid 90's. That's quite a task and it will be complicated because it's a huge organisation but I give my best.

HPCrazy Guitar Academy

The digital world is changing in lightspeed in the year 2026 and I had to come to the conclusion that the only sustainably strategy is to take all efforts to a private network ( HanspeterKruesi.com ) and to just use social media accounts to redirect all possible traffic to this website. That what has been done ongoing since 2023 and now it's also time to change the entire social media strategy to " More Quality instead of Quantity " . This means in fact that the focus now is on all Premium Members here on this plattform and to create high quality content for Premium Members. It's the only remaining sustainable way to go in the digital world of 2026 because the big plattforms are changing there content policies by the minute and nothing is predictable anymore. I am in fact a professional composer for TV & Movie : music-pictures.com and I am bringing my experience from 25 years of composing into all backing tracks to your benefit. I makes way more fun to practice when you have a perfect sound. Advanced Blues Guitar Course - First Steps : Here we are taking the first steps on the path to advanced blues guitar improvisation where we start playing more then only the minor pentatonics on a blues. The first steps are to train yourself to always know where in the blues form you are and what the chord is and that you are able to play material ( chord notes and / or the related major pentatonic with the approach note ) where it is required.

Cool Summer Blues Guitar : Here I show you a very cool and simple but yet not very simple summer blues guitar riff and some ideas how to develop the tune with some ideas with the E minor pentatonic. I created a cool tarantino style backing track for this cool blues guitar lesson.

Rock

Basic Rock Guitar Training - Chord Combinations : Here we are working on the most important automatism when it comes to rock guitar training. It's the form and putting in different elements and chord combinations into the musical form.

Basic Rock Guitar Training - Legato Playing : Great rock guitar solo's always have bigger parts of legato playing included. So the legato playing technique has to get trained as well. In general it is called the Hammer - On and the Pull - Off technique were I show you the very first steps where you can start to train your abilities of legato playing in rock guitar. We start in the very easy open string position of the E minor pentatonic to get to know this technique and then we move it up to the regular position in the XIIth fret.

Jazz

Jazz Guitar Essentials - Phrygian Mode : Here I show you the essentials which you can play when you play the phrygian mode on jazz guitar. This includes cool chord combinations, some soloing with the pentatonic but also the phrygian mode and some ideas with some upper structure triads. In the case of the E phrygian mode the F and the F major chord or arpeggio are the most defining factors if you want to high light the phrygian mode and don't want to let it sound like a regular minor pentatonic improvisation.

Jazz Guitar Essentials - Lydian Mode : Here I show you my view on the essentials you need to know if you want to master the lydian mode. I show you some chords, useful patterns and some easy tricks to display the lydian mode. The trick is in fact to focus on the options in the lydian mode which in the case of F lydian is the G ( 9th ) and the B ( #11 ) - this creates the mystical feel if you want to outline the magic of the lydian mode.
