Slow Drop D Ghost Blues - Guitar Lesson

Here I show you a very cool slow blues on guitar which is played with a drop D tuning and some analog delay & panner effect to create this ghost type sound and vibe. The blues is really simple to play - please try to create more tension in the sound with dynamics by attacking the strings differently in order to create this " from dusk till dawn " vibe.

Here you can download the files which are attached to this tutorial :

Liking this a lot, enjoy playing in drop D and appreciate your drop D tutorials. With the pedal board I built I can pretty much emulate Dr Pinks tone.

On another subject have you come across a band of 3 young sisters from Mexico, "The Warning" very talented and with a good team behind them they are making waves on the rock scene. Well worth a listen.

Cheers

Hey there - thanks for your feedback. Yeah Drop D is such a cool tuning for many things and the chords are mostly easy to grab. I see if you have a pedal board you for sure have the effects required to create this kind of sound.

Do you have a link to this band ?

I have quit a good connection to Mexico
