I have been wondering if you would put together a lesson in using double stop riffs with palm muting single notes in between. Why you may ask !! Well I’ve been listening to a lot of Metallica lately and have grown quite addicted to the song screaming suicide and am finding it very very hard to learn. But also I like this type of chugging double stop riff and palm muting they are doing. Also with the riff being played in f# minor low on the neck (I think) can it be used in other parts of the guitar and mixed well with the open or power chord positions??

I quickly checked out the song you suggested. I think that specific technique which I heard on the main riff is a good topic. I'll do that in the near future.

I absolutely loved this, me and my buddy got this down quite good and one of us did some lead guitar over the rhythm. We could have played it for hours but I think the neighbours would have got upset lol. -
Sorry for your loss Hans. Unfortunately there are people going through all sorts of tragedy. I am only just getting over a life changing event myself.......... But on a positive note, when you upload these guitar lessons for us students it makes us smile and gives us something to work on,occupy and express ourselves so you alone with dr pink have brought much joy. Me and my friend have sat watching all your videos with our guitars at the ready wanting to be the next ACDC ! You're definitely the best on YouTube for us and your hard work inspires us all mate. As they say over here "keep your chin up" Chris
