Greg reacted to admin in Newsletter - HanspeterKruesi.comHey guys,
here's is now the newsletter of the month June 26.
There have been a lot of things going on in the past 4 weeks. So lets go step by step :
SMPV
I have now been voted in as an official member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Music Pedagogic Association Winterthur / Zürcheroberland. smpv.ch - the foto is still not there but I guess it will come soon when we have our first meeting with the new Board of Directors. My goal is to bring in my strategic experience in professional online music education of the past 25 years to help this largest music association in Switzerland to gain back the relevance they had when made my SMPV diploma after my university guitar studies in the mid 90's. That's quite a task and it will be complicated because it's a huge organisation but I give my best.
HPCrazy Guitar Academy
The digital world is changing in lightspeed in the year 2026 and I had to come to the conclusion that the only sustainably strategy is to take all efforts to a private network ( HanspeterKruesi.com ) and to just use social media accounts to redirect all possible traffic to this website. That what has been done ongoing since 2023 and now it's also time to change the entire social media strategy to " More Quality instead of Quantity " . This means in fact that the focus now is on all Premium Members here on this plattform and to create high quality content for Premium Members. It's the only remaining sustainable way to go in the digital world of 2026 because the big plattforms are changing there content policies by the minute and nothing is predictable anymore. So I took a break of content production to rethink my strategy and here it is :
NEW :
HPCrazy Guitar Lab : This is the heart of our exclusive premium circle. The HPCrazy Guitar Lab is designed to take you behind the scenes of professional guitar playing, high-end sound architecture, and advanced creative workflows. This is not just another passive tutorial site—this is an interactive, member-driven masterclass experience where you actively help shape the curriculum.
Read more :
The livestream will only be accessable for premium members. You are free to already post comments, suggestions or requests what you want me to talk about during the livestream. You can also enter the chat during the livestream if you want to participate the Lab live. If you miss the livestream no problem you can watch it any time later and as a premium member you have full access to all features, tabs and backing tracks provided.
We will start with a approx. 1 hour livestream on Thursday 18.6.26 6:00 PM Zürich time here :
Backing Tracks in Broadcast Quality
Some of you guys might have noticed the risen quality of the backing tracks in the past few months. I am in fact a professional composer for TV & Movie : music-pictures.com and I am bringing my experience from 25 years of composing into all backing tracks to your benefit. I makes way more fun to practice when you have a perfect sound. Check as an example my most recent backing track " Dark Tarantino Style Blues Guitar Riff " where I produced the backing track in the specs of this very specific genre :
Community Counts !
I want to encourage all active members of the HPCrazy Guitar Academy to get your voice heard here. You can ask any questions to any tutorial, you can use the students forum to open new topics and build your own little community, you can use the Premium Member Blogs to create your own world.
Your data is totaly safe - I will not use your data for anything. When you decide to leave this website for good you can request that your data get's completly deleted.
Here you might want to read the last extended student post in the students forum. You are free to post what you like as long as it is only related to music and guitar playing. https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/guidelines/
Last but not least
Due to these changes I need to adapt the premium member prices to a sustainable level. The good news is that premium members who have an on-going subsription will not be affected by this pricechange. I want to say " thank you " to all those who have supported my work in the last years and so all you guys will not be affected by this.
For all others - the price change is only 1$ / month if you choose the yearly subscription :

These were now all relevant changes here in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy

Greg reacted to admin in Personal News FeedHey guys,
I took a few days off from producing tutorials. There is now a changement in the strategy coming. I will put quality above quantity and also put this community here more in the centre of all activities rather then my YT channel or other social media channels.
Also I can announce that I am now an official elected member of staff and soon co-president of the SMPV Winterthur Züricher Oberland https://www.smpv.ch and next week I will finally become an official member of the music staff of the catholic church in Egg and the whole region. They want me to play piano or guitar. It just came because I happen to be an emergancy musician for them in January and everybody love my music so much that they want me to continue : https://www.kath-egg-maur.ch/

Greg reacted to admin in Personal News FeedIn already 10 days I will play my next guitar night as a livestream from the HPCrazy Studio's in Egg ZH ( Switzerland )
I made a break since a longer time because I am in the process of redefining my personal guitar style. Here are the reasons and my thoughts.
Farbmusik : I invested a lot of creative energy into the development of my farbmusik project und to bring to a working local concert series which is not as easy as one might think. We are now in the 3rd year now and slowly we are getting somewhere. There my guitar style is clear - colors and melodies which come along with my compositions.
The new young guitarist generation : Players like Matteo Mancuso or Josh Maeder and also others like Tim Henson or Marcin which are absolutly fantastic and extremly skilled players have influenced my hearing expections of how guitar shall sound so much that am in a process of redefining my playing style under the influence of such great players. And I am working on this since 2 years and slowy I feel I am getting ready to perform my newer stlye which is still my style but with these new elements. So am starting with lifestreams as a way to get life playing experience with it and then to move further.

Verifizierte Infrastruktur.
Listen to my Farbmusik composition " Unites in Joy " in the color " Orange " with a symphonic orchestra, hybrid elements and the guitar replacing the female sopranist.
The Vision Experience "United in Joy," a symphonic journey where the raw energy of rock guitar meets the majestic depth of a full orchestra. This work is a testament to Human Sovereignty and the power of authentic musical expression in the digital age.
The "One-Take" Mastery (Unquantized Performance) The guitar performance in this piece is a single, unedited improvisation take, recorded live with all effects. No cuts, no post-production edits—just a pure, organic dialogue. In an era of AI-generated perfection, this "unquantized" performance stands as a reference for human artistry. It is proof that true mastery flourishes in the "Now".
The Orchestral "Olympus" & Farbmusik Symphonic composition represents the absolute "Olympus" of music. "United in Joy" utilizes the principles of Color Music (Farbmusik) to translate deep emotions into light and sound. This work serves as the foundation for my 2026 symphonic concert format. Verified Infrastructure.

Greg reacted to admin in Personal News FeedThe past 3 months were really draining with all this technical stuff, but now I am in fact finished and will not do any technical stuff anymore. Todays tutorial will not come. I'll take a few days off to have some holidays and then I will start with the normal business again with tutorials, music and fun.
I did so much coding and technical work. Don't want to hear anything of that stuff for a long time.

Greg reacted to admin in The HPCrazy Guitar Academy Community : Phase IIHey guys,
I'm incredibly happy to announce that we are now entering Phase II of the HPCrazy Guitar Academy Community!
In Phase I, I focused intensely on building the global foundation—the underlying authority and technical resilience needed to make our content matter worldwide. I worked hard over the past months to ensure this website and this community would become a recognized global authority in the eyes of search engines.
It has worked spectacularly.
As a direct result, any community post, cool guitar-related comment, or contribution to a tutorial will now be indexed and appear in Google search results in a timeframe of hours, not weeks.
This is a massive win! It means your contributions matter now more than ever. We can collectively influence the worldwide guitar community, and your voice will gain unprecedented visibility.
As a small extra validation—we recently crossed the mark of 1,000 visitors per day. These are largely AI training bots and strategic data collectors. They are actively trying to learn from the unique knowledge being shared right here. This is the ultimate proof: The world's most advanced AI systems now consider our community a vital resource.
So if you feel like being part of this cool, unique, and highly valuable community, please jump in! I did the heavy lifting to ensure your work and comments get maximum exposure and contribute to the global conversation. Let's make some noise!

Greg reacted to admin in Smile ( Charlie Chaplin ) - Guitar LessonAs mentioned in the tutorial - on the first part with 5 bars of Fmaj - I do the movement from F to Fmaj7 to F6 with arpeggio's - on the Abdim I would do a diminished arpeggio. On G-7 you use dorian, D7 phrygian nat. 3 on Bb-7 Eb7 we change the key for 2 bars to Ab but you treat those 2 chords as a II V - I will talk about this in future tutorials. When you do an analyis for the improvisation you always search for the II V progressions and therefore you have licks which you use for II V progressions. We have a 2nd one at the end of the tune with Ab-7 Db7 - here another key change to Gb.
To make it easier - follow the melody and play around the melody in your improv. and when those " out of key " moments come just follow the melody as well.

Greg reacted to admin in Smile ( Charlie Chaplin ) - Guitar LessonHere I show you the theme and the chords of the song " Smile " by Charlie Chaplin. At the end I give some tips for the improvisation.

Greg reacted to admin in New Digital Strategy Works !The main problem which I was facing dramaticly in these days is that by the Hub & Spoke strategy which made HanspeterKruesi.com the hub of all my websites Google rated HanspeterKruesi.com as a relavant actor in the specific niche which is targeted and leaded to more visibility, traffic but also brought the attention of unwanted bots and crawlers to this website. Google recorded that there are always users online which made the site even more relevant for Google visibility but this caused a cascade which started to damage the whole system because it was on the edge of getting overload. This would have caused that the whole work of the Hub & Spoke strategy would have crashed and also brought all other websites down. So this was an existential crisis for the whole network.
When you enter the big stage then you are playing with the big guys and need completly different security and hardware requirements. My hosting provider made me an offer which would had put my hosting costs up 1000% which I can not afford at the moment. So there was the choice either to go down or pay or go the path with Cloudflare which is a free tool to solve this problem but it needs expert knowledge which I did not have 2 weeks ago. So that was the thing I was facing and the good news is : It's all done and working !
But there are still in fact running experience data missing. We will see how this site develops and how all functions work. The whole network got down facing all this problems and needs to recover. The bots are now pushed away and have to be replaced by real users and interaction. It's a dynamic system - when users are online everything gets pushed up - when users interact everything gets pushed up. More visibility leads to more users and hopfully more premium members. The more interaction, the more sharing, the more being online which push everything up which makes the whole system grow.
Thats the game of the big guys online. I fully understand it now - it's very challenging but also exiting once you pass the threshold to been seen as relevant. The best way to stay there is to have a strong and functional community - that's our task now 😊
