Andreas got a reaction from Randy in Guitar Secrets - Sound Great On Cheap Guitar Equipment
Hi Hanspeter, great lesson. It appears to me as if you did this lesson especially for me. I am spending so much time finding the "right" tone on my Katana, instead of practicing more. I have one question: You mentioned pinch harmonics. I have no idea, how to do that. Have you already done a lesson about this technique?

Corona Blues Project - Guitar Lesson
Due to the corona crisis I thought I create this little Corona Guitar Blues here which we all can play to express how we feel about all this which is going on. There are different parts in this blues and there is something for every level to enjoy and to join. It comes in the ballpark of Gary Moore, AC DC, Rose Tattoo and many other great rocking blues artists. Lets start to connect with eachother with this #coronabluesproject – it's simple learn the part which you can play and connect with others which can play the other guitar and then jam with eachother or record a video together and upload your recordings to YouTube, Instagram or wherever and mark it with the hashtag #coronabluesproject . It's a social experiment for all guitar lovers to distract a bit from the crazyness which is going on in the world. Music is a great anwser to get some joy back into live and connect with old and new friends. You can either work with the hashtag or join the HPCrazy Students Club and connect there. It's all up to you.

Acoustic Blues Guitar Solo Performance Tutorial
In this tutorial I talked about how to play a great acoustic blues guitar solo performance. Think about the blues guitar player in the streets of New Orleans or a similar scene where you just sit there with your acoustic steel-string guitar and you want to play blues without any band. That's what this tutorial is about. This tutorial is divided in three parts, first I show an easy theme which is played in the key of A, then I play a simple blues guitar rhythm guitar and show you how to improvise by using the a minor pentatonic and the simple chords which I showed you and at the end I going to give some instructions how you really put things together correctly.
Here you find the standard blues form which is very important to know by heart :
    A / A / A / A
    D / D / A / A
    E / D / A / E
Pay really closed attention of my final notes at the end about timing, rhythm and form.

Mixolydian Blues Guitar Licks Done Correctly !
If you want to play the mixolydian scale in blues this is the right tutorial for you. Here I show you how to play a mixolydian blues guitar licks correctly. Understanding the mixolydian scale and how to use it is the key to playing really cool and creative blues guitar licks in any blues guitar setting. The key to understand the method of playing a mixolydian blues guitar licks is to understand what approach notes are. Approach notes approach the chord notes which are the root, the 3rd and 5th chromatically.  The approach note on the third is the most important movements are by using the mixolydian scale in a blues guitar setting.  Once you've understood how approach notes work you're pretty free to start to be creative by using the mixolydian scale in a blues guitar setting.  One important thing to know is that you can use those leaks only on the selected chords and not over the entire blues. In this case it's the D7 chord but at the end of the tutorial I show you how to also switch to other chords in this case the G7 chord.

Develop Blues Guitar Motivs From Scratch
If you want to know how to develop your own really cool blues guitar motifs this is the tutorial for you.  Here you can learn how to develop an easy blues motif from scratch by using a motif which is very simple with a note or chord on count 1 and 2+. First to show you how it sounds just with one note. Then I explain to you how to use the motiv with chords and how to make variations by making the first note short in the second one long or the opposite way. After these first exercises we start to make combinations with chords and some single note lines by using the A minor blues pentatonic. At the end we also add some licks or some additional notes but we always work around the main motive which you learn here in this tutorial.

Hey Andreas, yes this is lesson which for sure hits the issue of many players. Glad it works for you. Just try on your current equipment the way I am showing in this tutorial. The pinch harmonic I skipped in this tutorial since it's enough to start this specific journey. But I will do about pinch harmonic in specific in an advanced lesson later. Or you just check YouTube - for sure there is a tutorial which talks about pinch harmonics.

Guitar Secrets - Sound Great On Cheap Guitar Equipment
In this tutorial I talked about how to sound great on cheap guitar equipment. This is a question which probably drives most of your electric guitar players in the world.  You only have a limited budget to buy a good guitar amplifier. Maybe you can spend $200 for a guitar amp or even less and you're frustrated because you think you cannot sound great on a cheap guitar amplifier. The difference between cheap and expensive guitar equipment is in many cases the dynamic range. What is the  dynamic range ?  It's the way the tone reacts to your playing technique by going softer or harder in volume or your picking technique or any kind of articulation work on the fretboard.. I have good news for you. In the tutorial I show you how you can work out a technique to sound great on any equipment by using cheap equipment. The main step is to switch off all effects and just have the pure tone of your amplifier and then you start to work out your technique and how to create tone and sound just on your fretboard. If you must have this less than a year then you will be able to sign greater than any equipment you will have and well once you add effects again they will amplify and multiply the greatness of your sound with your learned on just play on cheap equipment.  This tutorial is from the “ must-have “ series,  meaning. It is for all tour players out there on this planet. I had this lesson myself on the very end of my music studies at music University  and it helped me alot to develop my sound to the next level.

Here you can learn horizontal pentatonic tricks which are a great add in your guitar playing. Most guitar players are stuck in their patterns which make them play vertically which is cool but if you want to sound different the easy way the horizontal pentatonic tricks are the right ones for you. I show the patterns on the B and high E string, show you the fingering and then give you some ideas how to work with these horizontal patterns. At the end of the tutorial I show you how to combine the new ideas and licks with your normal playing. This tutorial is from the new " Must Have " Series. Means thats one you better don't miss.

If you are a fan of really cool 80's till 90's rock like Judas Priest, Krokus, Accept, Scorpions or others or you just love rock guitar this tutorial is for you. Here I show you a really hard rocking guitar riff in the key of D and how you can develop your riff to another riff and to slightly get into soloing. Even the tracks is 120 bpm – meaning pretty fast the riff and the licks are quiet easy to play if you have your things a bit together. In this tutorial it's not about the riff and the licks I am showing. There are only suggestions – it's about creating this great music and waves of cool and hard rocking music. Thats why I call this tutorial " The Rocker " - because it rocks !
