New Digital Strategy Works !
3 pointsYes - i can tell since I have been around in the digital world since 1999. This task is now the hardest ever but I found a solution which now brings overwhelming results and the best of all is. I got free from being a slave of the alogerithems of the platforms since my network I created is organic and very strong. This means that I don't need to post a YT video all 3 days. I can focus on quality and creativity again. With the prior upload cadence I was always near to a burnout. Now this website here is the center of all and creativity can flow again. I can not tell how tired I was being forced to upload constantly just to keep the ranking positions. All I need to do now is just have a cool and engaged creative community and work for the community and not the alogerithm.3 points

3 pointsThere have been several requests to get the tabs of the tutorials as Guitar Pro Files. I use this software with all my live students because it is extremly useful for learning because you can listen how the tabs sound, you can slow down the speed or you can loop a specific section where you are working on. I STRONGLY recommend to use this software for learning guitar. There are 2 versions available. The full software or the app. To learn it is enough to just get the app since the playback featured I mentioned above are functional in the app too. If you want to get the software or the app at a reduced price you can use this link here : GET YOUR GUITAR PRO SOFTWARE Workflow : From now on all tutorials come again with the Guitar Pro Files for download. There are so many tutorials where I have a Guitar Pro File stored but not added in the download section. So here is how we can proceed :3 points -

3 pointsI have decided now to more and more switch from the " HPCrazy " identity to my real life name " Hanspeter Kruesi " - well in Switzerland it's written " Hanspeter Krüsi " pull more and more all my products and identities which have been summing up over the years to this website. So the links to the HPCrazy Academy will now all be : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com instead of https://www.hpcrazy.com/club.html I noticed that the main page gets shared more then the previous landing page so this makes total sense. The bigger task will be to get the Farbmusik tied up to this page since the idea of the Farbmusik in fact is the name which already says everything. There is also an english version available https://www.colourmusic.org but I found it cooler stay on the geman name also for the international communicate. Therefore an english version is available on that website https://www.farbmusik.com/eng It's quite a task to pull together everything - and I'll do it step by step A also started with pitching my music to LA music libraries again - here's a first attempt : https://www.taxi.com/my/artist/songs/4APZQUk4Qa6RBRxeES6AsQ-the-storm-is-coming3 points

New Backing Track Quality
2 pointsSince Summer 2025 there is a new quality of backing tracks available here in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy. You guys might have noticed. In fact i have synched the production of most of the backing tracks with my pitching process in the synch business for TV & Movie and therefore the quality has to be top notch. And thats you you might have noticed as the change of the quality. As an example the current backing track " Van Halen Style Rock Guitar " is in fact produced on typical 80s production standards with typical 80s sounds which also includes the typical Eddie Van Halen guitar sound. or the track " High Octance Red Rock Guitar " was produced upon the standards of a professional sports rock track as you might hear it in any major sports show on TV. The business plan includes the rejections of the agencies because the screening process is extremly selectiv and picky but then the work for those tracks also is great for the students of the HPCrazy Guitar Academy.2 points

2 pointsI spent a lot of time on this tutorial today. I don't know much about jazz yet. In your videos, you show us all the chords you use. But I need to dive a little deeper to really understand why, for example, an Ab9(b13) makes sense. I would like to take this opportunity to warmly recommend your accompanying data in the downloads. Your PDF with the chords is already helpful here. However, your Guitar Pro file in combination with the first-class backing track is amazing! I just added your MP3 to Guitar Pro 8 as an audio track. Both fit together perfectly right away. You are simply a pro. And not just on the instruments. Now I can slowly increase the tempo while practicing. The notes and backing track fit together perfectly at all times. Thank you for your first-class support. I can only recommend everyone to take advantage of these opportunities with the premium membership. Thanks Hanspeter 👍2 points -

2 pointsHey everyone! In this high-octane guitar tutorial, I'm breaking down my powerful "Red Rock Riff." This lesson focuses on dynamic playing of powerchords by switching between pickups and the way to attack the strings to help you master on how to play dynamic red rock guitar riffs. But this riff is more than just technique. It's a key piece from my Farbmusik (Color Music) series, where I explore the universal language of colors through sound. Red in Farbmusik embodies passion, energy and lifeforce. Join me as we dive into how music can channel the pure, unadulterated energy of red. This isn't just about playing notes; it's about experiencing the raw emotion and transformative power that comes when you play you chords the way which meets the essence of a color. Lessons with Joe
Lessons with Joe
Randy and one other reacted to datasundae for a post in a topic
2 pointsBack in San Francisco during the 80's I hung out with a trio called "The Squares". I was friends with the bass player. The guitarist for the band was the unsung Joe Satriani. I thought the band was terrific and everyone knew Joe was exceptional. I started taking lessons with Joe, an hour and a half a week, in a knock off Japanese guitar shop on Rose Street in Berkeley (the other Berklee ;-). We literally sat on crates in the back of the shop for our lessons. Even then, Joe was very focused on theory and more of our lessons were about modalities. I remember during one of our lessons Joe said - 'Hey look at this - I discovered arpeggios' which was true. It was also during time I bought one of his guitars which was a strat knock off from the import shop where we studied. It's a little hot rod - just a treble pickup and volume (what else is there? ;-). I still remember him playing that guitar at the Stone - a club on Broadway in San Francisco - with it's mirrored pick guard flashing in the lights. Joe played through a stereo chorus to two Echoplex tape delays into two half stack Marshall's at the time. I was able to join Joe at Hyde Street Studios while he was recording his first solo album which was the beginning of the grander Satriani story. I've attached a few of the theory lessons Joe wrote out for me.2 points -

2 pointsNow here comes the new strategy for the HPCrazy YT channel : The past 1-2 years where there to fill up all the beginners, basic and intermediate sections in order to have full courses available. That was of course not too popular because I did not target the popular themes but I wanted to have a complet online guitar academy. The next courses will be the advanced levels - which is again not really the most popular ones. I will proceed but on a slower pace. Now the focus on the HPCrazy YT channel will be to get more interactive with the community and with creative, colorful new things and I will start to do livestreaming performances out of the studio again in order to strenghen the community. Rome was not buildt in one day and despite the perception of some of the users. This website is only run by me. I don't have a team helping me so all always goes step by step. Not to forget the technical part of running such a website. But in short words - now it's time for creativity again - I also will make a new channel trailer. 2 pointsHey Hanspeter, thank you for this tutorial! I have a possibly odd question. But it made me crazy for a while, because i suggested that my guitar would be out of tune. So I reall worked hard on the tuning device. And i tested the turnaround on higher strings as well.... But finally it just seems to me, that the turnaround (Ab, A, Bb up to B7) sounds in my ears a bit better or maybe just a bit more natural, when i play after the A the next note not as Bb, but as a 1/4 bended A. Is there any theoretical explanation for this, or is the reason just an old man's bad hearing in this case? I hope my question isn't totally stupid Have a nice evening and thank you!2 points- Easy Blues Guitar Riff in E
