Here you find a selection of modal backing tracks where you can practice the main modes : ionian, dorian, phyrgian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian and locrian. You can use those backing tracks to practice only one mode to get more familiar with it. In the attached working sheet you find the modes and options which you can use on your soloing with these modal jazz guitar backing tracks.

    I'm working my way through the Modal Backing tracks and saving the backing tracks.  I'm using these tracks for different melodies in different keys that I come up with and it has been very helpful with my timing.  Also playing with a backing track sounds much better.
