Here you find one chorus of a blues in A played only with one guitar and no backing track. This is the type of blues a street musician would play with one guitar. It works that you play an entry lick and then the rhythm guitar by following the form of this standard blues. First the entry lick is played in 8th's, then tripplets and then 6-toles. Later you can replace the entry licks by your own creation. The audio is showing how this version sounds like.

Slow Drop D Ghost Blues - Tabs & Backing Track
This is a great straight slow blues track which you have to play with a Drop D tuning. To create a ghosty blues guitar sound I recommend that you add a tremolo and delay effect to your guitar sound. This is probably the only acoustic blues guitar song by Motörhead which does not mean that it is not a great song. It's a simple but cool sounding acoustic blues guitar song which is in fact very easy to play. Here you find the tabs and the backing track of this song. If you want to improvise to this tune just use the A blues scale. I have also added 3 cool acoustic blues guitar runs which you can use in your solo.

Blues Guitar Timing Exercises - Tabs & Backing Track
To manage timing in blues guitar it is really important that you know which kind of rhythm figures are used in shuffle blues or any shuffle rhythm. The basis of shuffle is the number 3. So we have quarter notes which is the tempo of the song and the triplets which is one beat divided through 3 or sextoles which is one beat divided through 6 and adaptations from that like the shuffle groove which is the first and the third triplet played or quarter trippets which is the first, the third and the second of 2 triplets played. Practice these exercises with your foot and your body on the quarter note of this blues backing track in the key of Bb.
