I may have to buy a slide after watching that

 

Looks like you have a glass slide. Any thoughts on the sound difference between a glass and metal slide? Is one better for certain types of sounds?

Well it does not make any difference. I just liked the glass bottlenecks better.... I would take one which is open on both sides, because otherwise you are sweating all the time in the closed bottlenecks.

Musiciansfriend.com says it's their best selling slide. Seems like it would be cool to switch back and forth. Or is it just a gimmick?

Looks very interesting because it allows you to play normal and slide technique. I think I want one of those too.

This is a really cool lesson. I've been playing this blues all morning today. I guess the next month's lesson will kick ass if it turns out to be the slide stuff. I'm really liking this.

 

 

 

Speaking of slides - have you seen this guy and his slides? There are way MANY MORE possibilities with these slides than with the standard one.
