This intermediate smooth jazz guitar course takes you from a basic level of playing smooth jazz by using just pentatonics and basic chords to a more sophisticated approach where you start to use different modes, patterns and chords together with an understanding of the theory of modes, rhythm and chords to the next level of playing smooth jazz guitar.

This course does not highlight the technical requierments of playing runs, patterns or licks fast but you start working with the patterns, knowledge and philosophy of modes which will help you later on an advanced level to also play faster and longer jazz guitar lines.

I strongly recommend that you also start to work on your technical abilities by learning the modes and arpeggios embedded in patterns which are displayed in this course here. But my advise is : Take it slow and easy !

For this course it's not requiered to play fast but to start understanding a different way of thinking away from the pentatonic patterns on the guitar.
