I want to make an update on my experience with Tik Tok - and this experience prooves that I am right to set all my energy on my own plattform :

The first months on Tik Tok I got like 1000 - 10000 views on my uploads with hardly any subscribers. So I thought I am doing something right and I just continued. But now out of the nowhere the alogerithm has changed. I get more subscribers but hardly any views on uploads anymore. The numbers are now around 30 - 50 views for similar content which I did before. Even Tik Tok is a popular plattform this incident prooves that one wasts the time to get a strategy on any plattform because if the company decides to change the alogerithm they don't ask you and all your work was for nothing.

In fact yes - I have been on the road in professional internet business since 2003 and I can tell it was a mistake to go to social media. These days they do what they want and it makes no sense to invest too much time into these platforms anymore. I am really glad I started to go back to my platform back in 2019. The traffic is still not too high but at least the work I am doing here for you guys is sustainable.

TikTok in fact is doing strange stuff - once they push you then not ... but however I will continue there because it's not really much work to do and I get quite some traffic there with only little effort. I soon reach 1 K followers and then I can monetize that channel. Here is now the general message which I sent out today :

TikTok in fact is a wonder-box - I don't really know what the algorithm is doing but I am reaching the monetization level and I have been invited by an Agency today to join their network. That's in fact a huge thing because they work directly together with TikTok and they will promote the upcoming live streams I will be doing on TikTok.

Like 2 months ago I applied on tiktok for some advice about live streaming. Then TikTok contacted me personally and now I am in this really cool Agency. I had a personal call last week.

Since the algorithm of YouTube got so bad in the past 18 months and not supporting my content so much anymore this is what was needed to get more traffic and views. TikTok mostly has been very supportive regarding my content and the great thing is that it was only performance content which did not get supported by YT so much.

So all in all - great news.

And no worries the guitar tutorials will remain on YT - or at least here in the same format on this website.

As I already said TikTok is a wonderbox - somehow there are always good and bad news at the same time. After doing the first livestream on TikTok today I came to the conclusion that my focus shall remain here on this website. I lost like nearly 3 days of going through specs and messages and testing - it's just too time consuming.

I made an entire analysis together with Grox, the AI of Twitter to get a strategy to make my main musical expression " Farbmusik " stronger in the perception of the public and of course to get more audience on the concerts. The main path to get from currently 20-40 people in the audience to 100-300 is the tiktok channel.

So the livestreams of the farbmusik concerts will be on tiktok now and also many video uploads and stuff. :)

So I changed this tiktok channel now and included Farbmusik to the guitar channel but the main brand will be there now

This channel will be focused on performance but I will also upload the shorts there which you can see on the HPCrazy YT channel.

The general goal is to get the HPCrazy Guitar Nights which I restarted one month ago running that we will have a nice community either online or local to join the guitar night.
