Hey guys in this post I will show you which guitar works or guitar videos inspired me a lot - you can also share yours if you want.

I will start with probably the best guitar solo ever - and the winner ist Steve Vai with Tender Surender. It's just amazing how extrem he can control the tone and the tension in this video here. A must for any guitar fan :

yeah and these guys back then had no fancy light effects and stage show.

I need to share this new video by Josh Maeder - wow this guy is a league on it's own and I love this composition. It's kind of a Pat Matheny on stereoids. I know this style is not for everybody but I can tell you need to be a musical genius to write and performe such a tune..... it's not the technical abilities - it's the whole package of the vibe of the song, the paying technique and the new sound.

 

Some of you guys might know Jason Becker because his illness but probably don't know how great he used to be as a guitar player. I just stumbled over this tune today. And it's brilliant :

These guys are really impressive and inspirational - having hardly any followers but I guess this will change soon.

This is not really a guitar video - but this is in fact from my opinion the best " Feel Good " song. Here in Europe this guy was a superstar back in the 90's

I understand that Matteo Mancuso is the current superstar on the guitar scene but I prefer Josh Maeder. He is as technical brilliant as Mancuso but is playing the more sophisticated jazz lines.
