Hey guys in this post I will show you which guitar works or guitar videos inspired me a lot - you can also share yours if you want.

I will start with probably the best guitar solo ever - and the winner ist Steve Vai with Tender Surender. It's just amazing how extrem he can control the tone and the tension in this video here. A must for any guitar fan :

 

I want to share this other Steve Vai video - this part which starts at 3:27 is just mind blowing guys.

 

I really love the song " Brothers in Arms " and specially this live version with the very nice guitar solo by Marc Knopfler.

 

A very iconic scene from the movie " Crossroads " - I really recommend this movie to any guitar player. There are 2 scenes there - this one is where the woman leaves the guy and he playes a really outstanding slide guitar instrumental - which is originaly played by Ry Cooder :

Yeah, that is a great movie!  I like the scene where in his classical guitar exam, he adds a bluesy ending to the Mozart piece.

Finnish people are so crazy - I once had a finnish GF so I was there and these people really love music and do all those crazy things like this guitar player here 😄

 

Many of you might know the song " Hush " performend by Deep Purple - but did you know the version of the Swiss Band Gotthard ? The singer Steve Leedied tragic some years ago on a roadtrip with his motorcylce crue in the USA. The band formed out of the rest of the band is called Core Leoni.

 

I just fell over this video here. That lady does not have so much followers and views but this video seems to go viral. What are the reasons for it ? The dress or the groove. I really love the groove and the fuzz alike distortion she is using. Well the guitar solo is not the greatest - but the groove and the sound of the guitar is really cool. And I would wear an other dress :D

 

George Benson is known for his songs with a lot of string arrangments but he started his career as a very good jazz guitar player. You might want to check his rendition of Take Five.

 

I always loved the guitar sound of Scott Henderson with Tribal Tech. Maybe some of your guys still remember this band.

 

Check out the guitar solo of Frank Gambale here - i think he is still unreached. This kind of perfection in this genre was only possible in those days where you could have concerts with fusion bands. In these days fusion bands don't get booked anymore
