The Jimi Hendrix chord was the E7#9 chord.Even Hendrix did not  Invent this chord it was always related to him because he used very often.  In this tutorial I am showing you a very cool rock riff using this chord but with a drop d tuning. With a drop D tuning you tune down the low E string to a D and then you have three open strings which create a really dark and strong powerchord which is very easy to grab and so very good for beginners or intermediate players.  Since the left hand work is very easy you can fully concentrate on the right-hand which picks the strings and there I am showing you some tricks and tips which make you a very good rock guitar player. The 3 tricks which I'm showing you here ar the central part of any rock riff and it you pay close attention to my instructions you won't have any difficulties anymore to play a  really tight rock rhythm guitar.
