The past weeks I basicly just was busy with my " Farbmusik " . I had a concert on oct. 2nd where I needed to practice a 90 minutes soloperformance. This was very demanding. But I was glad that this time Tatjana Nikic entered Farbmusik with her contribution. She did a great performance and understood what it was about. The concert turned out to be the best in the past years. This is what some said. Somebody recorded the concert on video. So for all those how missed it it is available here :

AIC 2011

 

Farbmusik entered the " call of papers " for the AIC 2011. An internation symposium " Interaction of colour and light in arts and science " . Here is my contribution.

 

A concept in art and psychology

 

Farbmusik is music which has been composed to the colors of the rainbow. The rainbow has been chosen because this are the spectral colors and a natural phenomenon for the relation of color and light . The principle of Farbmusik is that either color, light or music shall have the same emotional and healing impact. The effect is based on the connection between the autonomous nervous system, on physical charms (frequency) and reflex answer. In practical use ( concerts, CD’s and therapeutic settings ) a significant number of listeners have experienced the music with colors in the expected way.

 

Musical research : Several musical concepts have been developed over years to achieve this result. Keys, chords, fragments of melodies where developed to an entire improvisation and playing concept. Modern sounds and composition forms were created to achieve a maximum emotional impact. Actually every played note, sound and detail in compositions are designed to create this effect that the colors can be experienced in the described way.

 

Here is a list of the colors and a few assignments which have been made. This are individual so these are meant only to be suggestions.

 

Red : Energy, earth, blood, life, passion, love, spiritual strength and power, sex.

Orange : Joy, warmth, activity, sensuality, Tibetan monk, harmony, art, beauty.

Yellow : Sun, light, essence, illuminance.

Green : Joy, freedom, hope, nature, growth, calmative, fresh & new, earth.

Light blue : Water, sky, peace, wave, endless, ice, longing.

Indigo : Universal knowledge, mysticism, the third eye, deepness.

Violet : Faith, mysticism, transformation, timeless, spirituality, healing, serving.

 

Casting show

 

Farbmusik got invited to contribute to a big casting show at Swiss TV. The first casting will take place in one week. Dont know if I will make it to the next round. But I give it a try.

I was in Germany on the weekend. I was invited to join a healing session where the methods of Dr. Klinghart are used. I dont know the exact expression of it. Kind of a kineoslogic thing. And this theraphist has working with my music since march 10 and now the results are here. It really works and has big potential to become a main tool in this kind of theraphy work. I was astonished to watch this concept with my music in it. It very very impressive and serios work what I was able to see.
