I am a 53 year old guitar player who came to HP with a huge lack of direction as to my practice routine and what I needed to work on to move forward in my playing.
Smooth Jazz and playing over backing tracks is why I came to HP in the first place. I've taken multiple lessons with Hans, and for good reason, he completely understands my level of playing, what I need to be working on to improve while using my strengths and working with me on my weaknesses. With my normal practice routine and with Hans' help and encouragement, I am continuing to become a better player and am enjoying the guitar more than ever. HP is responsive when I have questions and is truly a welcomed change to me from the confusing and scattered lessons I was previously trying to absorb through other online sources.
No matter the skill level you are currently playing, he will give you the guidance and mentoring needed for growth. I took advantage of being able to use Hans’ knowledge and skill on the guitar, and am so glad I gave his private lessons a try.
 
Oh, and the bonus, he is a really nice guy!
