I have started taking lessons, so I am trying not to get off track First tune as a lesson in jazz is Autumn Leaves ..so I will be watching that lesson of yours again and again. I am told that is a good teaching tool for learning jazz, and it is one of my favorites anyway. Belated Merry Christmas, or Early Orthodox Christmas.

TOD reacted to admin in Notes about things around my music.Composing Royalities
Reading my royality report by Swiss composer association SUISA I see a huge rise of usage of my music internationaly. Somehow the Google cooperation used my music very often and as it seems also Netflix in one case. Thats really cool. I got signed by a LA music library like 10 years ago and it looks like the music from that library made the way to those huge companies.
I love to be a composer and back in 2008 - 2012 I really pushed it hard to get into that buisness but the competition is huge since it is international. I got quite successful back in these days with many placements in Swiss TV and also ABC, BBC and many other broadcasting companies but somehow I thought the effort to get there is too big for what you get and then I decided to push for the HPCrazy YouTube channel which took off really fast in 2012 - 2015. The royalities from my composing area are still coming and I think I will try to make some free time againg for my composing. It has been a while since I produced music.

Creative Jazz Blues Guitar With Walking Bass ( Octaver Madness )
Here I give you some tips and tricks on how to play really cool and creative jazz blues in F with walking bass only with a brush jazz drum and an octaver effect set on 25 %. The beginning is really easy to play. The 2 + 4 feel is really essential for that - the full walking bass with chords is a bit more demanding but still in the range of any intermediate player.

Here you can learn real pro tricks on how to master a smooth jazz guitar track by using parallel arpeggio's, modes, parallel modes and by inserting alterations. The track I am talking about has the following chord progression :
A-7 / A-7 / A-7 / A-7 / A-7 / A-7 / A-7 / A-7 ( Aalt ) /
D-7 / D-7 / A-7 / A-7 / Ealt / D-7 / A-7 / A-7 /
This is a guitar masterclass so you need to have your things a bit together or you can get some ideas and inspiration here. It's not so much about speed, it's about understanding a progression and using different tools of expression.

In this tutorial I talk about basic jazz guitar and the topics " minor modes " and " secondary dominates " . To understand this tutorial it is strongly recommended that you first learn the tutorial " Basic Jazz Guitar ". I make a short review about that at the beginning of this tutorial. If you already know what I am talking about and you can follow then you are ready for this tutorial - if not please first go through this tutorial :
And in this tutorial I show you the connection of minor and major modes. If you know the major modes it's simple you just make the VI in major to the I in minor and this leads you to the following steps :
I : m-7 Chords Aeolian ( 1 2 b3 4 5 b6 b7 )
II : m7b5 Chords Locrian ( 1 b2 b3 4 b5 b6 b7 )
bIII : Maj7 Chord Ionian ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 )
IV : m-7 Chord Dorian ( 1 2 b3 4 5 6 b7 )
V : m-7 Chord Phrygian ( 1 b2 b3 4 5 b6 b7 ) / or Dominat 7 Chord Phrygian nat. 3 ( 1 b2 3 4 5 b6 b7 )
bVI : Maj7 Chord Lydian ( 1 2 3 #4 5 6 7 )
bVII : Dominat 7 Chord Mixolydian ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 b7 )
After that I talk about secondary dominat chords. They mostly resolve a 4th above or a 5th below.

Here you can learn the very basics which are needed to play a basic jazz guitar. I talk about the major scale, how to build chords with the major scale, stacking up triads and how to find out all 7 chords which are attached to the steps of the major scale. To each chord there is a mode attached. Please also start to create your own chord progressions as explained in the video. To master this tutorial, probably rewatch this video over and over till you understand it all and it is also essential that you learn the schematics below by heart.
I : Maj7 Chord Ionian ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 )
II : m-7 Chord Dorian ( 1 2 b3 4 5 6 b7 )
III : m-7 Chord Phrygian ( 1 b2 b3 4 5 b6 b7 )
IV : Maj7 Chord Lydian ( 1 2 3 #4 5 6 7 )
V : Dominat 7 Chord Mixolydian ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 b7 )
VI : m-7 Chords Aeolian ( 1 2 b3 4 5 b6 b7 )
VII : m7b5 Chords Locrian ( 1 b2 b3 4 b5 b6 b7 )
