This way make it more interesting for the listener to follow the story you are telling. That is the main trick to make simple music from sound very interesting and engaging. Here you learn a very cool crossover dorian funk guitar concept. The basis of this tutorial is to understand the Dorian mode and to create some cool chord riffs by using a drop d tuning on your guitar. The center point of this concept is to have a chord riff repeated and to add some cool licks in different positions on the fretboard. The defining note of the Dorian scale is the B. It's the sixth interval and creates the really Dorian sound which we highlight in the guitar licks and chord riffs showed in this tutorial.
