Here you find a very easy but cool Robben Ford style blues guitar riff which is using a chord voicing which just gets move one fret up oder down and creates a cool blues riff with the progression : E7#9 / A13 / E7#9 / B13.
You can improvise with the E minor blues scale on the E7#9 chord and with that scale including the C# on the A13 chords. On the B13 I recommend using either just the chord notes of the B7 chord or the half tone - full tone scale which sounds great on this specific situation. I have wrote a little example where you can check it out. The backing track is produced in the room of the famous " Bird Land " café in NY.
