To get the maximum benefit of these exercises also learn how 8th notes and 8th pauses are written so that you are able to read what I have written down for you guys here in order to master the basic 8th notes exercises. Also pay close attention that some exercises work with down and upstrokes and some only with downstrokes and also play the accents which are displayed in the exercises.
