  2. Finally we made it to a new server and it seems as all error messages are gone and all is working normal again. The delay was caused because of the long weekend of last Friday being the swiss national day and then Saturday and Sunday where the extended support of my server was not working, which was needed to fix this problem. But I'm glad we are completly back online. 😊
  3. As it seems there are more functions involved with the current technical problems. However I will move to a new server and by the end of the week hopefully everything will be fine again. We all have to be a bit patient. 😊
  4. At the moment, there are a few technical issues happening which does not let me embed the video's here in the academy. So you only find the link to the video's at the moment. I hope this problem will be solved soon. 😊
  5. I want to highlight, that comments in any topic are most welcome. It is a main shift now in the entire strategy to get you guys out there more into interaction with challenges and contributions and stuff. More news about it on the HPCrazy YT Channel, but you are free you use this system here to interact. 😊
  6. A New Era for HPCrazy Begins!Hey there, dear HPCrazy Community, I've got some big news for all of you! After a lot of hard work and deep thought, it's time to roll up our sleeves and take HPCrazy to a whole new level! You know me, Hanspeter Kruesi, musician and teacher since 1998. And you know my loyal companion, Dr. Pink. But now, our musical family is growing: Please welcome Mrs. Blue, our new guitar, who will play a central role in HPCrazy's future! Why a New Strategy Now?The world of online content has changed dramatically over the last 10 years. The market for guitar tutorials is incredibly saturated today. It's no longer enough to "just" deliver good content – you need to be unique, offer real value, and pursue a clear vision. I've realized that my motivation hasn't always been at 100% these past two years, as I felt we were in a "dead end" if we stuck to generic content. It's time to redefine HPCrazy to ensure our channel remains relevant and vibrant in the future. I'm ready to pour my entire energy and passion into this transformation! What's New at HPCrazy? – Welcome Farbmusik! The heart of our new strategy is Farbmusik – Music to Colors, my unique Psychological Improvisation Concept. Forget old genres and rigid music theory! With Farbmusik, I'll show you how to express emotions and visualize colors directly through your music. It's about more than just playing notes; it's about pouring your soul into your melodies and unleashing your creativity in a whole new way. Mrs. Blue will help you discover these new dimensions. I'm convinced this concept has the potential to profoundly change the world of music. My experience from live concerts shows that 65-70% of people who experience Farbmusik live are thrilled and keep coming back. Now it's time to spark that excitement online and make it accessible to a much larger community! What Can You Expect? Most Innovative Guitar Tutorials: Learn to translate your feelings and ideas directly into music. 7. The next guitar night is coming on July 4th - there is a new thumbnail now. I have decided to combine Farbmusik with the HPCrazy Guitar Nights and therefore I use the concert guitar of Farbmusik " Mrs Blue " for the guitar nights. I can tell that Mrs Blue really sounds extraordinary - I can not even tell how extraordinary. So the new thumbnail for the upcoming guitar nights is this one here :
  8. Great News Hanspeter!! 🎸❤️👍
  9. Hey thanks for sharing your story. That's so cool to see these handwritten scripts here. How many students did he have back then and did you become friends with Joe ? This really cool and a part of rock guitar history which you are sharing here - thanks
  10. Back in San Francisco during the 80's I hung out with a trio called "The Squares". I was friends with the bass player. The guitarist for the band was the unsung Joe Satriani. I thought the band was terrific and everyone knew Joe was exceptional. I started taking lessons with Joe, an hour and a half a week, in a knock off Japanese guitar shop on Rose Street in Berkeley (the other Berklee ;-). We literally sat on crates in the back of the shop for our lessons. Even then, Joe was very focused on theory and more of our lessons were about modalities. I remember during one of our lessons Joe said - 'Hey look at this - I discovered arpeggios' which was true. It was also during time I bought one of his guitars which was a strat knock off from the import shop where we studied. It's a little hot rod - just a treble pickup and volume (what else is there? ;-). I still remember him playing that guitar at the Stone - a club on Broadway in San Francisco - with it's mirrored pick guard flashing in the lights. Joe played through a stereo chorus to two Echoplex tape delays into two half stack Marshall's at the time. I was able to join Joe at Hyde Street Studios while he was recording his first solo album which was the beginning of the grander Satriani story. I've attached a few of the theory lessons Joe wrote out for me.

  13. I understand that Matteo Mancuso is the current superstar on the guitar scene but I prefer Josh Maeder. He is as technical brilliant as Mancuso but is playing the more sophisticated jazz lines.
  14. There have been several requests to get the tabs of the tutorials as Guitar Pro Files. I use this software with all my live students because it is extremly useful for learning because you can listen how the tabs sound, you can slow down the speed or you can loop a specific section where you are working on. I STRONGLY recommend to use this software for learning guitar. There are 2 versions available. The full software or the app. To learn it is enough to just get the app since the playback featured I mentioned above are functional in the app too. If you want to get the software or the app at a reduced price you can use this link here : GET YOUR GUITAR PRO SOFTWARE Workflow : From now on all tutorials come again with the Guitar Pro Files for download. There are so many tutorials where I have a Guitar Pro File stored but not added in the download section. So here is how we can proceed :
