Do you provide xml versions of your lessons? Then I could import them directly into Guitar Pro and Notion which would save me a lot of fuss ;-).

Hey there - in fact I have all files of the tutorials also stored as guitar pro files and there was a discussion once if I should provide those files as well for premium members. The main problem I have is that they are so many for so many lessons and I am not sure how many of you guys in fact want those guitar pro files.

I'll think about it and what a solution could be for that problem 😊

Well it's not so easy as you think - there are so many tutorials which would need to be updated. This would take me like one or 2 days to do that. But here is the solution. View below - I am out of office till tuesday but I will upload the guitar pro file to this tutorial then so you can download it. For any other tutorial just make a request in each tutorial you want to have it. And from now on all future tutorials come with guitar pro files again. rolleyes

Guitar pro is pretty helpful. I tune my guitar in 4ths so the B string becomes C and the E becomes F. Guitar Pro lets me specify that tuning and adjust everything but the chord diagrams (doh) but those are easy to fix and it's good theory practice to change them. But don't create a lot of work just for me. I can per your thinking just ask for the Guitar pro where it would really be useful.
BTW your guitar is strikingly beautiful. Every time I see it it spawns a yearning. I have plenty including a guitar I bought from Joe Satriani when I was taking lessons from him in the 80s. But yours is a knock out.

Thanks for being so responsive and attentive :-)

I see - ok then Guitar Pro is the tool to use since you can change the tuning of the guitar there. It's really the tool one needs to have if you are into guitar playing.

Don't worry your request is legitimate and you are not the first one asking for this and this night I got the solution how I can do this without too much work. It would be a lot if I needed to upload on each tutorial - but this way it can be in the natural workflow and I create the guitar pro files anyway.

Thanks - it's an Epiphone Elitist. That's the same quality as a Gibson Les Paul Studio and also the same price. I got it back in 2006 when I was an official Gibson online instructor.

no kidding ? riffercan you share your story in the students forum ? I would be extremly curious. metalhead Steve Vai was a student too - you probably met him there too.
