Nach langem Ueberlegen haben ich beschlossen ab sofort wieder wesentlich mehr Zeit in die Weiterentwicklung der Farbmusik zu geben. Der Fokus soll dabei wieder zurück gehen zu dem ursprünglichen Konzept der musikalischen Darstellung von Farb mit Kompositionen und Improvisationskonzepten an der Gitarre und dem Piano. Die letzten 3-4 Jahre waren die Farbmusik Konzerte und Neuproduktion im Wesentlichen auf Piano Solo Stücke in 432 Hz ausgelegt. Das hatte verschiedene Gründe - die ausschlaggebenden Gründe waren aber der grosse Erfolg einer CD mit über 600000 Streams / Monat über eine sehr langen Zeitraum.
Der andere Grund, war dass das umfassende Konzept sehr aufwendig ist und es boten sich immer wieder andere Möglichkeiten an die Farbmusik entsprechend kommerziell und kreativ einzusetzen.
Im Zuge der Entwicklungen von AI auch in Bereich der Musikkomposition macht es allerdings Sinn andere Wege zu gehen, welche sich von den üblichen Genres und üblichen Einteilungen von Musik unterscheiden. AI ist nicht in der Lage Musik nach Farbe zu klassifizieren, geschweige denn zu produzieren, weil die Umsetzung von Farb in Musik im Wesentlichen eine emotionale Angelegenheit ist.
Der andere Aspekt wird sein, dass die Gitarre wieder umfassender in die Farbmusik integriert wird. Der Aufwand für die Produktion und Improvisaiton von Farbe auf der Gitarre ist wohl wesentlich grösser, aber dafür ist auch der Wiedererkennungswert viel grösser, währenddem Pianoimprovisation sehr an Interpreten wie Keith Jarett, Ludovico Einaudi, Schuhmann oder andere leichte klassische Pianisten erinnert.
Es werden nun auch wieder moderne Sounds eingesetzt, was eigentlich zu Beginn der Farbmusik um 2007 herum ein grosses Erfolgskonzept war, was auch ein jüngeres Publikum begeistern konnte. Dazu werde ich meine Erfahrung als Komponist für TV, Filme und andere mulitmedia Anwendung einfliessen lassen und mit den oben genannten Konzepten koordinieren.
Ich sehe in diesem Konzept eine sehr gute Möglichkeit in einen Feld mit AI dominierte Musikproduktion bestehen zu können.
Farbmusik für therapeutische Anwendungen und Meditation wird es weiterhin geben, aber es soll nicht mehr der Fokus nur auf diesem Aspekt sein.

After much deliberation, I have decided to devote much more time to the further development of color music. The focus should go back to the original concept of the musical representation of color with compositions and improvisation concepts on the guitar and piano. For the last 3-4 years, the Farbmusik concerts and new productions were essentially designed for piano solo pieces in 432 Hz. There were various reasons for this - but the main reason was the great success of a CD with over 600000 streams / month over a very long period of time.
The other reason was that the comprehensive concept is very complex and there were always other ways to use color music commercially and creatively.
In the course of the development of AI in the field of music composition, however, it makes sense to take other paths that differ from the usual genres and usual classifications of music. AI is not in a position to classify music according to color, let alone produce it, because the transformation of color into music is essentially an emotional matter.
The other aspect will be that the guitar will once again be more comprehensively integrated into color music. The effort for the production and improvisation of color on the guitar is probably much greater, but the recognition value is also much greater, while piano improvisation is very reminiscent of performers such as Keith Jarett, Ludovico Einaudi, Schuhmann or other light classical pianists.
Modern sounds are now being used again, which was actually a great success concept at the beginning of color music around 2007, which could also inspire a younger audience. In addition, I will incorporate my experience as a composer for TV, films and other multimedia applications and coordinate it with the concepts mentioned above.
I see this concept as a very good way to survive in a field dominated by AI music production.
