Here I show you my version of the theme of Bud Powell Trio's version of Lullaby of Birdland. It's a really nice and sweet tune and worth learning it. After that part I show you an intermediate version for chords on the tune and at the end of this tutorial I make a basic analysis for you to find out which modes are used on those chords. But you can also work with only the F minor scale + blue note on the A section. I will show you a version to get some inspiration.

Cheers HP...........great song...............the music was written by a British pianist, George Shearing who was born blind. Despite this, George went on to have an amazing career in Jazz working alongside giants of the genre such as Stephane Grapelli, Nat Cole, Count Basie, Dave Brubeck and many others. An incredible talent!
