Misty - Jazz Guitar Lesson

Here you can learn the theme of the very standard jazz standard " Misty " by Erroll Garner. I will show you the version which is written in the Real Book and also how to make slight variations on the theme.

In the 2nd part I show you chords which go along with the melody. Those ones are probably not for beginners, but those really work together with the theme of the song.

In the 3rd part I show a very easy way to improvise to this tune by using the Eb major scale together with the blue note. In the B section I just follow the melody a bit and make variations out of it. With this method you will sound nice and smooth and are able to improvise even with very little knowledge about jazz music theory.
