I really like how you provided the chords for this song in the tablature - that must have been a lot of work, thanks!  You chose nice voicings too that are easy to add melody lines to.  And of coarse the piano on the backing track is super fun to play with.  This will be fun to learn.

Yes those chords also work with a solo version where you play the chords and the melody at the same time. I used to play that song when I was playing in piano bars 🙂

Great song HP................Richard Rodgers was a top composer................great versions on YouTube too............Ella, Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughan, many more too including a great jazz guitar version by Joe Pass.............

 

Thanks for the video - I always loved Joe Pass and his style and his style also influenced my jazz guitar style.

curious……how many members in this fraternity are over 70 and studying jazz and blues???
