HP I really dig the licks. It will take me a while to get the 16ths down. I love Cool and Smooth jazz. I just joined but I think I will like the blend of music and spiritually.

Hey Matt, yeah the16ths are a bit a task. Just take your time  after a while they start to flow smoother.

I am still a beginner and these licks are very accessible. As expected, the 16ths are still killing me but I'll get there.

Where can I find the backing track you are using?

The ones I found are either faster or a lot smoother and I can't keep up on the 16ths.

Yes as a beginner you probably have some trouble with the 16ths but just keep it going and work on it. They will come ? In Smooth Jazz you need to have some 16ths but you dont need to be extremly fast or play long runs just to have a certain speed which you can play smoothly and relaxed.
